That's the best description of the bug that I caught last night.  All of a sudden I'm throwing up and my insides start making gas and liquid instead of solid,  came on at 10-ish pm with constant, steady trips to (my new and echoing) bathroom.  It persisted for about three-four hours into the night.  Then stopped.
Just read Tammy's post and was reminded of the gift that keeps on giving.  I've had this happen before, once or twice since chemo.  who knows if it's related, but I'm still grateful that I don't have to feel like I did on Taxotere.  Felt like this plus someone was hitting me with sacks of flour!!!!
I made it through last night with some sleep and am functioning today.  I'm so so grateful for the blessing of catching it early enough to recover reasonably well.  I am thinking of all of you today.

Hi Ellen-
Glad you are feeling better, but perhaps you have given us more graphic detail than we need to or care to know. Could you maybe have just told us that you had an upset stomach into the night?

Sorry to be the bearer of this post, but I just think it is a little much for us on the BC board.

Get better real soon!  Sorry that you are feeling under the weather.

Ellen, my son-in-law just had that. Doctor said it is a stomach virus going around and it is awful! Hope you feel better soon!
Hugs, Gail

Ellen, hope you are feeling better, but I agree with Lori. That was way to
much information....

Sometimes it is a slender thread, Sometimes a strong,
stout rope; She clings to one end, I the other;
She calls it friendship; I call it hope....
