I went and had the Dillon Scan back a month and a half ago to rule out cancer in the right breast, where I had been feeling a lump along the right side when I put my bra on.  Nothing showed, and I felt much better....until two days ago.

I felt a lump sort of near my scar tissue, different part of the breast, wrote it off as scar tissue and me being my own hysterical self (I never felt a lump when I had one, so my imagination does stuff).  Then last night, Bob felt something where I had originally felt something--along the right side.  He later said he didn't, but he did stop there and check, so he must have felt what I felt.  I'm thinking it feels bigger, too.

My insurance Co never covered the Dillon, but would have covered the MRI, which I never had.  I'm thinking about calling the surgeon and asking for an MRI now, since it's covered.  MRI's are known for false positives, but at least if I get a positive and it turns out to be false, I can ease my mind by getting a closer look.

Oh Ellen, you poor thing! It's enough to drive you crazy! Yes, I agree you should tell him you want an MRI so you can ease your mind. I am praying you get to have your test, they find it, biopsy it and find it B9!!! Then you can relax! It is terrible that this disease makes us have to always be on edge.

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

Ellen, this is the way it will be from now on. When you're not comfortable, make them do something. Get that MRI now. You will have a stroke just worrying about it.

The PCE needs a winter workout so make that call.

Love You, Jo-Ann
