And I got very good news!  No surgery at this point.  I have "weight lifter's syndrome."  Y'all know I just spend so much time lifting weights!  LOL  Anyway, the tendons in the rotator cuff were so inflamed, as was the AC joint, that the radiologist misread the MRI as tears.  So I got a shot of cortisone that is already helping.  I'm to call him back in a couple of weeks to let him know how it is going.  If the cortisone doesn't fix the problem, he could do surgery to shave the bone down, but it would be minor compared to tears in the rotator cuff.  Unfortunately, there isn't really any physical therapy regimen that will help me at this point.  So I'm very hopeful that the cortisone will continue to help, and I'll actually be able to cross this specialist off that growing list fairly quickly!

Hugs to all...

Great news on your shoulder, I have a bad rotator cuff but Im putting it off as long as I can, I guess You will just have to stop all of that weight lifting and relax a little more. Good luck in the meantime and I hope it stays the same with no surgery.
