When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems

as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that

What optimistic words, Kitt. I had a wonderful friend who lost her fight with this disease a few years ago. Her favorite was..."That which does not kill you makes you strong. Most of the time, it just kills you." Gosh, I loved that woman!

Forgive my ignorance, but what is "CD"???

Hugs and thanks,

HI,

CD is Crohns Disease..................... yeah

I am so sorry your friend lost her battle.  Cancer is such a nasty disease and

I have lost many friends and family to Cancer.  I support the members in their quest for understanding of this dreadful disease and every day I pray for the victims and families.

Nice to meet you.

Of course, it is! Silly me. If it weren't for Crohn's Disease, we might not have a home called "healingwell"!!!

You're right, cancer is a nasty disease, . I've lost many friends and family members as well, and my brother is a prostate cancer survivor.  But Crohn's and depression are not picnics, either.  Hope you and your hubby are both doing well.

Did I read in another post that you are a nurse??? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Anyway, nice to meet you to, and thanks for offering your support to our community. It's a nice gesture, to reach out to other communities here at healingwell.

Take care.

Bev,

Yes I am a nurse and I have dealt with almost every disease here through my work so for me it is natural to have the desire to offer support to people of all diseases.

You sound like a very caring person with a lot of losses too.

Bless you
