I am back after a trip home for a big family reunion and a wonderful few days with my brother and family.  My daughter from Cincinnati picked my grand daughter, great grand daughter and I up at the Columbus airport and drove us on to WV for four days.  Hailey, 14 mos, was the hit of the weekend.  She is the best baby I have ever been around and that means many at my age.  She smiles, chatters, goes to anyone, never cries even on airplanes.  She especially was a hit at the Home for Aged where my mother lives.  Yes, we spent time with Mother!! Her short term memory is really bad and her nasty side is making it difficult for the staff at the home.  But she was fine with us.  So we had a nice visit with her, too.  I am going to rest up a few days and today is a great cave day, light rain, overcast skies and I have no reason to go anywhere.

Hope you all had wonderful weekend plans, too.
Hugs, MK

It was a great weekend, MK. My son, Eric, bought me a new computer for my birthday while I was visiting with him. Most of it actually works. I also loved my cave day. I've used my new gas grill and am getting ready to visit you. Now your mom can say that not only is she 94, but she still has her own teeth. LOL

Love You, Jo-Ann

Praise Heaven! Jo-Ann got a new computer! Hope you plan to be visiting us all here at HW, too, and not just MK at her house...you owe us a few amusing posts and a few rants, you know. We have missed your musings.

MK, I'm glad you had such a great weekend. For me, I can't believe that fall is just around the corner. Of course, if we don't get rain soon, I won't have any leaves left in my forest to watch turn, but we are due for a downpour soon...I hope!

You two take care, and give each other a bunch of hugs from the rest of us.

Love and hugs...

Maybe we should make a new post with the title "JO-ANN GOT A NEW COMPUTER!!!"

Yes she is coming to visit on Thursday. I am not sure what we will do, but one thing is to visit the consignment stores in town. This town is full of them, I think it is the only industry here. LOL We have a monthly flea market, too, which I have not visited yet. But it is this weekend, not next.

Jo-Ann celebrated the big 60 on the 3rd and this good friend didn't even send her a card or mention it here. I am hanging my head in shame.

Hugs MK
