I start adriamyosin this Friday.
I am asking any of you who have been through it to tell me how you did.
Where you able to work, did you get sick, tierd etc.
I don't mind loosing my hair, been there done that with the brain tumor....but never had chemo and I am worried sick....about the side effects.
I have Crohns disease so trips to the BR again isn't anything new. With Crohns, my family has watched me go through pain and everything that comes with it, I just don't want anymore!!!!!!!!
I can deal with this cancer thing, But I don't want to have my family watch me be  sick anymore.....
I just do not want to be tierd, I don't want to lay on this stupid couch all day for 3 months and puke.
I read a great quote today and thought I would share it with all of you......"Just because life isn't a party, doesn't mean I can't dance"  Not that I have to dance everyday, but I don't want to lay around sick and tierd.
Tell me what you did, little things that helped...anything.
thanks for sharing

Gretchen, I did not have chemo, but have been around here long enough to know everyone reacts differently. They give anti- nausea drugs that work very effectively for some. My daughter went through chemo and I think she had what you are having. She did not have good insurance that paid much on drugs at the time, so she took as few as possible and did fine without too much nausea. Her main complaint was tiredness. She worked through the chemo. Hers was every three or four weeks, can't remember now. Things change all the time. I hope with your Chron's it is manageable. Like you needed something else in your life!!! Right?

Hugs MK
