Hope you have great plans for turkey day.  We are going to Carolyn's later today.  I have rolls to bake yet and a pie shell to fill with Butterscotch that I heard Carolyn's really wants.  Erica is making other pies.  I fixed a small turkey last night for the two of us so I could make gluten free stuffing and gravy.  Today we can carry that for Chuck.
I also wanted to mention that Stella's husband is home from the hospital.  Still chilling and sweating, still coughing and weak as a kitten.  He is to have a PET scan on December 1st.  All other tests came back as inconclusive.   They are spending a quiet Thanksgiving by themselves today.
I'm giving thanks for all my good friends here today,

And a very Happy Thanksgiving to you. Glad to hear you're not doing it all this year. I'll be leaving soon, taking everyone locally, down to Eric's house. He made me in charge of desserts so I've been baking away. How cruel is that? Putting a diabetic in charge of desserts?

Sorry to hear that Stella's husband is still having trouble. That seems some time to wait, Dec 1, for a test.

My CT scan and chest x-ray are set for 11/27 this year. Also, please say a prayer for my son-in-law. He has finally attained a goal he has had since he was a child. Last night was his first tour as Officer I Bates. He's so happy and the rest of us are so scared.

Enjoy all those turkeys are fixin's. We've all earned a feast day this year.

Love, Jo-Ann

I answered this earlier today. I must have forgotten to hit submit. Getting old is scarier every day.

Thanks for the great Thanksgiving Day card, Jo-Ann! I know you bought it just for me because it matches my birthday card and we both loved that one, too.

Congratulations to Officer Bates!!! Don't be scared, he will do well. No one will mess with anyone that big!!!!

Will be thinking of you on the 27th. I go for my diabetic eye exam on the 26th. Do we ever do anything but run to the drs and to labs for tests? LOL

Love MK
