Hi everyone, I hope all are enjoying the holiday season! Long story short, the specialist cannot say for sure either that the lump is a lymph node, however, it has all the characteristics of one. She said we could do a stereotactic bx, but would probably end up being more invasive 'cause the lump is so tiny. She said by the time they can get me in and I get the results it will be late Jan or early Feb, and I was recommended having another mammo in April. She also said I have Mastodynia and a lot of breast tissue in my arm pits. So, after talking w/ her and my husband and doing some "soul searching", I decided I will hang in there til the diagnostic in April. I figured it's only  a few months after I would get the results anyway. She said if there is any change we will schedule a bx. I feel pretty good about this, and if I change my mind I can call and ask for the bx. Does this sound reasonable to you all?? Any input appreciated. Happy Holidays!!  yeah

Yes it sounds reasonable to me. A breast specialist certainly would not have you wait if she felt it would be harmful to you. Have a Merry Christmas and try to put it out of your mind for a couple of months. Yeah, I know easier said than done. But keep busy reading or watching movies or whatever makes you happy and resting.

Sounds good to me too. I am glad you saw a breast surgeon. Now try to relax and enjoy the holidays! Sounds like you have a good dr and a great hubby!
