Dear HealingWell members. My name is Tammy Vallido and I am a student researcher/doctoral candidate from the University of Western Sydney Australia. Peter the site webmaster, has kindly allowed me to adverstise a study I am conducting. I am seeking women who have children, that are willing to discuss what it is like dealing with an illness while being a mother. If you live in Sydney Australia or close by, you have the option of meeting for a chat, otherwise you can share your story through email. I have no criteria regarding the type or severity of the illness as it is the effect on your mothering I am interested in. I can be emailed at t.vallido@uws.edu.au It is hoped that this study will contribute to better health care for women. All information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence, and this study has full ethics approval (HREC 7473). I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story. Kind regards Tammy

PS. previously this study was advertised for Australian women only. However motherhood unites women internationally and due to intense international interest my supervisors have agreed to the study recruiting internationally. Therefore if you speak fluent English, and have mothered during illness, you are welcome to participate.

Please do not continue to repost your thread.  You have written the same thing twice, for the most part, on this forum and on others.  That's against forum rules.  I did delete your other post.   I see you added an additional paragraph on the original post.  You should have edited your original post.  Thanks.

Sorry Sherrine, I didn't realise I had to edit. It was just that there were women from other countries expressing interest so when I got the okay I reposted. It was not meant to be annoying. Kind regards Tammy
