I have suffered from extreme fatigue since I was a child. From the day I was born my mother said she would have to wake me up to feed me. I will sleep 18 hours a day if I didn't have to get up. Regardless of how much sleep I get, I never feel rested. I drag myself through each day.
All of my blood work has come back perfect. The doctor is stumped. He sent me for a chest xray to rule out Sarcoidosis, I haven't gotten those results back yet. I could literally go to sleep anywhere if I wanted to, I have no problem falling asleep or staying asleep. Exercise doesn't really help, I've kept at it 4 days a week for months and it doesn't help my energy levels.
I have a fairly high resting heart rate, usually in the 90s. I do have "asthma" although I don't get wheezing or coughing, it just feels like I can't get a full breath in sometimes, more so lately than usual.
Can anyone help? I'm so tired of being tired ALL THE TIME. I feel like I can't lead a normal life because of this.

I suffered from depression when I was 18 (I'm 27 now). I took antidepressants for 4 years. It really helped but not with my energy levels. I get mood swings now but nothing major. I do get anxiety sometimes. My doctor encourages me to try and control it rather than take medication.

It would probably be useful to investigate the anxiety and depression, even if it didn't have to do with her physical symptoms. It will at least improve your quality of life. If you are being sick because of underlying anxiety and depression , It could possibly cure you. Just an idea though, I'm probably as sick as you are, maybe worse. I know I have a lot of anxiety though, perhaps causing the sickness

if you are that tired for that many years depression would be normal and a symptom not a cause.
I would look for a doctor who looks for causes-they are out there.
FYI-the two causes that most doctors miss are dental issue and parasites. Find a doc who test and treats both every week-don't use inexperienced docs in this area. They will waste your money

It could possibly be chronic fatigue syndrome, but I am not an expert on that. I know this sucks, and it's near impossible to put up a fight when you don't even know what's happening.
