I sympathize with all of you that have any type of Comprehensive Pain issue.  I Have been diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, formerly known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.  It's a debilitating Nerve condition, and also benefits from the use of Drugs which have not gotten direct FDA approval.  I was on Neronton and also had been up to the 1800mg Daily dosage, and just recently changed over to the new Lyrica 300mg/day.  While it seems to be a huge benefit along with the Duragesic patch, I am able to tolerate the cold better.  My issue seems to be an issue of sweating profusely about 1 hour after each dose (3 times a day).  and have been on it for about 2 months.  This sweating just started about 2 weeks ago, and I have now broken out in like hives (wife says I look like I have a sun burn).... I spoke with my Dr. who has been totally involved and supportive, and he seemed someone unconcerned and left the decision to give up the benefits I have realized from Lyrica and return to the last dose of Nerontin.

Was just curious if anyone else has had any type of issues similar to those I have listed since being on Lyrica?

Hi,

I took lyrica for about a month. At first I noticed a little swelling in feet and hands, then when dr increased my dose I swelled up like a balloon and had shortness of breath. Dr. told me to discontinue the lyrica.

Hope you have better luck with it than I did.

Take care of you,

Tee

I Have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue.  I take Melatonin 3 for sleep, two hours before bed.
and every morning I have a shake with orange juice, forzen vanilla yogurt
and I add Ginkgo Biloba, bee pollen, and Spirulina powder. It helps me cope with the pain.
Doesn't make it go away of course, but I am able to cope, and it doesn't kill my
liver or kidneys.
