Hi artpainter,  HEY, I hope you're hanging in there.

Did you ever read the long post I wrote to you on one of your "no subject" threads.

It's probably on page 2 by now.   I invited you over to the "Anxiety" board, because there's a little more Action over there yeah .

I noticed that CFS is slooow, because I don't know why.  Maybe not as many people with CFS as some other things, or they're too "fatigued" to come on.  No doubt ... I know I drag around the Internet like someone with a broken leg.

We have a FUN thread called HAPPY thread ... and you can post anything on there... day or nite ... usually somebody comes by.

Well, I hope you'll visit there.  I like hanging out there ... because I can understand anxiety, but I don't understand CFS or LYME ... two mean unpredictable critters, that's all I know and I burn out on talking about something that's robbed my life.

Anyhow ... Hope you'll start posting there and see what fun it is.

Thinking of you too and hoping you're painting up a storm :-) .

Ann

mad  ijust somehow lost the whole note i typed to you & i am furious!Puter did that one. i think...musta been sommething i said;he is very tempermentasl, & i know it's a "he" cause i get along sooooo well with my female appliances, & all puter ;he prefers "Mr. Computer, Sir"  Hah...he's gonna be part of a plastic pop bottlle before that happens;i'm usually not rude but he started it & i know he laughs at my typing cause i hear these chuckles from time to time when he & i are alone...our cats are very talented but chuckling is a bit beyond them.thanls for telling me about the "anxiety board" I wasn't aware of it, tho i did            find it a bit odd that everyone i met seemed to congregate in the entrance. you really are a big help, ann, & supportive ********& i thank you a lot;i still feel kinda lost in the place.I am slow to adjust, having been raised by 2 perfectionistic parents & having the problems i did doesn't make it difficult to understand.  relatives..i aunt esp. told me when i was 4 that i was "too sensitive:, laughed too esily, cried too easily,..so i tritd to keep everything inside, all my real feelings...i didn't have anyone to trust;finallly, emergency surgery, boom! inevitable, really. I hid the true stuff well from my folks, mainly to protect them;my grandmother was great in a way, bbwe went to elvis moviiies together  when i was 11 & 12, she also hurt mwe with remarks you shouldn't make to a child, llike, did someone spit tobacco juice in your face...ha,ha;i was 12 or so then, & self-conscious.so none of them got to know me, too bad.this is to funny, in a way cause the snoring i hear from the bedroom right now comes from a counselor...married nearly 18 yrs.  i was slow...but you do not try to treat your family or friends unless you're an idiot. anyway, annie, gotta try to sleep again. i've been relly sick for 2-3 days, getting beter, tho7 as far as fun goes, if there's a board or room where there IS some, lead me to it! laughing & lightfoot, gordon,..the 2 l's that have helped me stay alive in the past. I still listen to gordon cause he's a good clasically trained folk singer, canadian;he's who bob dylan listens to. i got my 1st lightfoot album in 65, my most recent about 20 months ago...he doesn't churn then     m out. most peopllle don't even know how good he is ;they'heard, "if you could read my mind" & "The wreeck of the edmund fitzgerald", period;those are probably 2 of the least representative of his songs you could ffind BUT the most commercial.the guy is really good;he strukes achord in me, no to everyone's taste, i know. i like lots of people, but he's who i llistevvvvvvvvvvvvn to whev i paint, also someone names Iris Drmrnt;appalacian background;wonderful siong     ...writer. did you see the movie. "songcatcher"? she had a smal rolethanks again, friend ann...see yoe around the anxiety board..watch me get lost;take good care, hugs. nite

I'm worried for you with this bug you caught.

I'll wait and see if you're here to answer.

Well, I guess you ain't here.

I wanted to tell you that I got a good chuckle about "Mr. Computer Sir" .

I wouldn't let him get the upper hand. Remember what happened to the computer in 2001 a Space Odessy ... the dang thing took over and messed with poor Hal something awful and then started singing "Daisy, Daisy" ta boot.

You can't let Mr. Computer Sir take charge much longer ... there's reason to believe these suckers do have a mind of their own, when ya first hook up with them, but you've gotta show 'em who's Boss or they'll mess with ya. Ho-ha !

You were talking about being "too sensitive" ... well I was too (still am sometimes), and when I was a teenager, I asked my Dad what I could do about it ... and he said, "Don't lose your sensitivity .... just turn it toward others and be sensitive to them."

I thought now that I'm Much older ... he was very wise to say that.

And when we moved to a new town, I asked him, how I could make friends, and he said, "Don't wait for people to be friends with you ... you just 'be' a friend."

Hmmmm, guess we gotta let a bunch of years pass before these bits of wisdom drop down into our conscious mind and make sense. ha.

Well, just been thinking of ya and thought I'd stop by to say Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, you're as Welcome as can be. M-I-C--K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E.

Are you old enough to remember that song ?? :)

Have a sweet day artpainter.
God Bless & Take good care of you.

hey, ann, thanksfor the post;your dad was
more than wise to say thatyou shoul keepyoursensibilities,  sensitivities, turn them toward others & be sensitive to them;in my family we never even admitted we had feelings, let alone talk about them;too busy running from them;lots of somatizing in my family.i lost my reading glasses yesterday;cant really see keyboard  without them; talked to whiteman briefly ;he works & gets online at same time so there are looooong silences...someone i can keep up with! anyway, my eyes were also tired from 9hrs of painting & kept tearing ...when i got a half-look at what i had said to him , i'm surprised he replied;he had to literally interpret...like a different language;Guiness should give me a notation for the most typos while LOOKING at a keyboard! ha, ha...it was pretty bad;iwas blind as a bat & can't see the screen as i type;if that was practice, which i guess it was, there's a loooong road ahead of me. sigh.hope to see yolater, annie;when do you think you'll boe online? hard for me to say, having to share puter, who seems subdued after i had a little "talk" w/him earlier...just point out that i'm still bigger than he is, & he can be replaced;i don't expect an actual apology, just more co-operation. we shall see, ha ha ha.was up til 5am, then slept til 11am so not too bad. tired tho ;must rest more;cfs & rls will not let me even with meds for both..sinemet for legs, lunesta for sleep.well, hang in & hope to see ya...painter

Hia artpainter,
Sorry I haven't been here. I posted on the "Allergy" Board cuz I got bit by a ton of fire ants on Sunday and I'm very allergic to any type ant, spider, bees, wasps, etc.

I'm doing some better now, because I'm taking 3 different things for the bites.

Anyhow ... I hope you're doing alright.

Ha, you shouldn't worry about TYPOs ... I don't think anyone of us should be concerned with those. We all understand each other's post just fine.

I usually get here like between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.. It's "my time" to play with my Mr. Puter but not "Sir" ... I'm the boss here with this guy. HA. He knows I won't take no stuff from 'em.

I told you in that other thread a while back, that at least you have the outlet of using a Forum.
Because my husband can't type AT ALL , he can't participate on forums. But that's GOOD, so I don't ever have to share Mr. Puter with anyone else .... heee-heee.
Oh wait .... sometimes my cats will walk across the keyboard and mess everything I just wrote or delete it altogether.

I know what you mean about losing posts. Oh gosh, one time I wrote up a whole thesis type post on another forum and acidently hit "Esc" instead of "~" . Phewy, what a trip that was.

It's not how you reply, it's the fact that you cared enough to reply ... that's all I see.
I'm sure the person you responded to felt that way too, exactly.

I just think I should tell you, that even though I know some extremely brilliant men (hubbie's smart too) .... there's not a few who have trouble typing.
My husband can read any book on earth, but he can't "write out" his thoughts. He can speak well, but can't express his thoughts clearly on paper.

I'm just the opposite. I get tounge tied speaking most of the time, but I can write O.K..
Strange huh ? I think we all have our abilities and weaknesses.
From having even met scientists who can'd do math or write well, I know to never ever judge a person by their writing or even speaking abilities.

You have much to share and a nice spirit so that's all I'm getting from what you say here. You say the kindest things... and I think Up Above, that is all HE sees too, and HE could care less about TYPOs, but knows the intentions of a heart and yours is kind. (:

It's always fun to stop by here and at least get to answer one of your threads.
They are NICE visits.
God Bless you and I'll see you again about this weird time of day. I am weird ... I'm a NIGHT-OWL for shur.

All the BEST for a HAPPY sunny day ... even if it's raining.
Cheers.

I saw where you posted on the "Aids" forum that you have that test Friday.

Just wanted to let you know that I'll be praying for you girl.

You take good care of yourself, and if I get home early enough tonite from this neat concert my lady friend from the CFS support group is taking me to, I'll come by here to see you.

Also, don't forget to look at our 2 HAPPY threads on the ANXIETY forum.

Lots of jokes to read ... but wait for a day when your eyes aren't hurting. All that laughing may make them feel better though ... on second thought.

Love to you.

artpainter, I stopped by to see ya.

I know your test is today and I just wanted to tell you again that I'll be praying they go easy on ya.

I had a ton of those tests, back when I was 18, and back then, they kept me in the hospital for a week to have them all.

It took two weeks at home to recuperate from all of those tests. But I had a bunch in that one week in the hospital. Back then they called it mucos colitis and I read that it was psychosymatic, so I did a mind over body thing and got rid of it. I was taking all of my stress into my intestines, so I redirected where I'd take my stress.

I dunno ... but it worked for me ... but I don't think mucos colitis is chrohns though ,,,,, or is it ?
I don't hear that term "mucus" colitis anymore and I haven't researched it enough to know.

Well, anyway, just wanted you to know I'm rooting for you and hoping you'll rest this weekend and be alright soon ... and your flu/cold too.

All the very beary best friend.
