Painter, I was wondering how you were doing. Sorry the chrohn's is acting up - you go for your proceedures next week don't you? Do you have to do the liquid thing again to clean your system out?

I'm worn out and am heading to bed shortly. My rheumatologist is out of the office until Thursday so she doesn't know about the results of my 24 hr urine test. Hopefully I'll hear from her on Thursday.

Take care and have a good night.

Diagnosis:  Suspected Lupus 2004; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; CFS 1991; Mono 1985

Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Amitriptyline 10mg; Neurontin 200mg; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain

I really wish you didn't have to go through all of your proceedures, Painter. Some of your surgeries must have been really awful.

Today was a really bad day for me - I was in terrible pain and was so fatigued I could barely get through work. I'm glad to be home and sitting down in my recliner. I'll be glad when I hear back from my rheumatologist tomorrow and i hope she can help me. I have a really busy rest of the week, so I hope I make it through okay.

Take care of yourself and be good to yourself. Peace and hugs

Hi artpainter. I'm feeling really bad today. I got a message from my rheumatologist's office today, but by the time I got it it was too late to call beack, so I'll try tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your prayers and kind thoughts. I hope things are well with you. Take care of yourself.

Hi Painter. My rheumatologist's off ice just called and I talked to the nurse. The nurse said that right now my doctor wants to just monitor the protein levels in my urine and not change anything with my treatment. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that. On Monday I might call a nephrologist to see if I can get an appointment without a referral - I doubt I can though. I'm feeling pretty discouraged right now. We have company coming in today for the weekend, so I'm worried about how I'll hold up.

You are in my prayers with everything you have coming up - How are you holding up? Thanks for all of your support. Hang in there. Love and hugs

dear sweet hippy, i would be soooo happy with your doc's decision;if he didn't think there was a pretty good chance of improvement within your body without changing treatment, he wouldn'r risk it, believe me;if it's not actual caring it's fear of lawsuits;hon, this is not bad news.! it IS wait & see knews ,which is so hard, i know...all you have to do is take care of u noe;as for company, when u get tired, say so & go to bed;please do not knock yourself out for anyone but u...promise? and don't even do that;no knocking yourself out, period;i think u do too much for too many;now it is essential that u rest, hun. please think about this;you don't have to hold up for company or for anyone;slow down, lady, slow dowm & tc of u, u ,u! i know what i'm talking about;believe it. think priorities;what is more important...health or company..& i know that u know its health. has to be;no matter what is going on around u;try to staay focused on how your body feels & what it's telling u , listen to it & do what it needs,PLEASE. unless u want painter after u with big brush full of acrylic paint bright purple with pea green swirled in ...!!!anyway, i am going to lie down now;still not well...i really am scared surgery may loom, we'll see.u tc & isend love, prayers & tons of hugs.let your doc decide for now, ok? i do know it's so hard.i feel it will be worth it, tho...try to relax(yeah i know ha) trust the universe. hope to talk ater, sweetie...going to nap. love ya painter
