Does anyone know how to explain Epstein Barr to your employer.  Unfortunately, mine thinks I have a case of mono and doesn't understand why I need to rest and take it easier.  Unfortunately, I'm not a teenager, I 53 and they aren't understanding.  They've been on the internet and once they see the work mono, that where it stops.  They don't understand that it hits the immune system, the pain involved in my body.  Can someone help me to find information to either show them or get a better explaination of Epstein Barr.  I need all the help I can get to explain this.  I've only known that I've had this for two weeks and unfortunately haven't been able to take it easy.  I'll appreciate any help I can get.  Thank you

Grammie, I'm so sorry you are going through health problems and all of the pain and fatigue that goes along with Epstein Barr. Probably the best thing to do would bee to get your doctor to write something for you to let your employer know how Epstein Barr affects the body. I hope there is something that will help your employer be more understanding.
