Hi artpainter. I hope you are doing okay. I'm hanging in there and counting down the days until I am done with work. My last day is August 31 - I am so ready. I think I will probably try to apply for disability but I have been told it is very difficult to get and the whole process can be really stressful.

Diagnosis:  Suspected Lupus 2004; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Amitriptyline 10mg; Neurontin 300mg; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain

eyes   eyes :-) :-) ppi, hi!! great to hear from you. yeah, i'll bet u r counting down the days!! disability,,,,the 1st time u apply, u will be turned  down;i don't think it matters anymore what state u live in;what u have to do then is get a lawyer...legal aid has good ones for this problem;you can get disability;it takes some time & patience;persist;do not take no for an answer...or u may get it 1st time around(it's getting harder most places, but it's weird..sometimes a person has no trouble). i know that isn't the rule, tho..u may have to fight;find a lawyer wherever..legal aid, wherever. who you feel will fight for u;there r good ones out there;sometimes u can even get an expert disability one to work pro bono. but file, see what happens..take it from there..file & persist;it works!! the system is generally a royal  pain;persistence however does pay off. do not be a bit discouraged by one thing i have said, dear;you may have an easy time of it..or not..persist, persist w/a lawyer if necessary.
     i am kind of low;cfs, bad time of month pmdd...my 81 yr old mom still has trouble w/that...my doc said it can last a woman's whole life...anyway..tc, my dear friend...i will count the days, too, with u!! t c love ya, painter eyes eyes
