I was just curious if anyone diagnosed with CFS can relate to this.  A lot of my symptoms are consistent with CFS, but the doctors are not sure because- I can actually feel a sickness in my body, it feels like dirt is flowing through my bloodstream- that is the only way I can describe it.  It is not constant, usually after being pretty active.  I have been sick 11 months, I have had some of the normal symptoms of CFS like extreme dizziness, weakness, sore throats, headaches, muscle aches, panic attacks, anxiety, nuerological symptoms.  The problem is the fatigue hasn't been the main problem, it is more like I can feel something sick inside me.  I have progressed with this illness, but I feel my doctors are missing something- I have lost a lot of weight, and alot of symptoms went away- I am pretty much left with, the awful sick feeling, weight loss, anxiety, my chest muscle cracks and pops, some fatigue, backaches, and a lot of irritability. I am just curious to see if anyone can relate to the sick feeling I am describing, oh yeah and working out makes me feel worse.   Thanks!!

Aquarias, I forget, what ever happened with your investigation of lyme? Those symptoms and the progression that you describe really sound like lyme. The good news is, if it is lyme, you can get better! You would just need to get proper treatment.

Thanks Alfers, I am still searching.  I wont give up until I find an answer or I get better.  I have had about 6 or 7 negative Lyme tests.  The doctors don't think it is that, but they are not sure it is CFS either.  It really is horrible- all of this time and no answers- just suffering.  I am now testing for parasites and adrenal gland problems- we shall see- my doc is running another batch of blood tests. Ill post when I hear something.

Have you had your blood tested by IgeneX or been to an LLMD? I know it sounds ridiculous, but you could have hundreds of negative lyme tests and it wouldn't mean anything. The CDC even says lyme should be a clinical diagnosis because the tests are so unreliable. If you've had it for awhile, it's also not uncommon to become seronegative, meaning the lyme will not show up on any blood test, no matter how accurate the test. The thing about IgeneX lab in CA is that they include the two bands on the western blot that are specific to lyme disease. For some reason, most other commercial labs don't report those two bands -- but those two bands are the exact ones we need! Most normal doctors and specialists don't know about this and don't do the bloodwork at IgeneX, so the tests you're probably getting are virtually useless (for lyme anyway). Have you read Dr. Burrascano's guidelines? You can find them at www.ilads.org (look for "Diagnostic Hints and Guidelines...") or at www.lymefoundation.org.

You may have something else, of course, so it's good you are getting a lot of tests done. I just wanted to remind you that the lyme tests are really NOT the way to figure out if you have lyme or not. And remember, I (and many others) went to top specialists at major universities for 4 years and none of them had a clue about lyme. So even if you get negative responses, if YOU think you haev the symptoms, you should pursue it.

I know how you feel.  I don't know about the sickness running through the body, but I have an over all feeling of just, YUK!

I'm always tired, and my neck is always stiff.  Exercise/lifting weights always makes this worse for me too.

I went the adrenal fatigue route too, but that didn't help me.  I just ordered Humaworm and I'm going to test the parasites thing as well, however I think what caused my fatigue is stress.  I'm also doing acupuncture at this current time too.  Keep me up to date on what you find... I know how you feel.  All the blood work, tests, dietary changes, doctors visits... it's so hard being kept in the dark, and now knowing what's wrong.  I tell my wife sometime I would just like to know it's something bad, just to know.

Keep your head up!

Orion, how long have you been sick?  Could the sick feeling you talk about be described as the most disgusting feeling in the world?  That is how I describe it.  Have you been diagnosed with CFS?  That really means they just don't know. However, if it is CFS, the doctor I have been seeing, who has diagnosed CFS in many people says it always gets better- completely. I am just not sure if I have that- I really don't sleep all that much more then I used to- the fatigue isn't the main symptom- right now it is really just that awful sick feeling- makes me feel like I am going to lose it!!  I know what you mean- just having an answer would make it so much better.  Keep  me posted, as I will with you.

Have you been tested for rheumatism? This sounds a lot like what my husband would describe when he had rheumatism, the body feels ill.

No, I would say it's an overall sickness, and I sleep very well, according to my sleep study. I can sleep for 10-12 hours without issue. I just never feel rested when waking.

I know this is very old but I have been looking up my symptoms for a long time and this is the ONLY thing I found on the internet that matches how I feel. I hope someone sees this and can give me answers :(

Somberheart, what kind of answers are you looking for? alfers gave great advise regarding Lyme disease. CFS is one of the 300 illnesses that Lyme mimics. I was diagnosed with CFS, later to find out it's LD.
