I have a high level of bis muth(toxin) and Vanadium (one of my essential minerals) does not even place on the chart it's way below the inside range.

***bis muth is one word but since it's being recognize as vulgur I had to seperate it.***

Vanadium supplements are helpful in controlling diabetes. People with diabetes have low levels of Vanadium. So, I have to increase my Vanadium level before things get worse.

Also, I want to have a full toxin and essential mineral test, because this test only tested for 9 toxins and 11 Minerals. It still was a huge help, because now doctors can relate my toxin level to my illness. This test didn't test for lithium. I read that sometimes toxins does not release in the hair(I did a hair sample test). Since this test showed a normal range for mercury I really need a blood test that test for all toxins...and minerals so that I can be sure that I don't have high levels of mercury that is not being release through my hair.

Also, if I have very low Vanadium it's more than likely that have high lithium levels, because vanadium helps inhibit lithium levels.

Quote for a site:

"Shared toxicity or overdose symptoms of bis muth and lithium include possible kidney or liver damage, staggering gait, tremor, mental confusion, hypoadrenalism (bis muth), hypothyroidism (lithium) among others. Magnesium can be used to treat lithium overdose, while calcium can be used to treat bi****h overdose."

I also learned that toxins can cause candida yeast overgrowth...so you can treat for candida all you want and it will never go away if you body has high levels of toxins.

I have adrenal fatique(or one of the many names that is called), low progesterone and hypothyroidism(tissue resistance to thyroid hormones).

Meds: Armour Thyroid, Hydrocortisone, ProGest and lots of supplements in addition to my multi-vitamins.

Hello,

My usual hangout is the UC forum, but your title caught my eye. I see you are testing for toxins. Does that mean you think your CF is due to toxins? Well, you are not far off the track, in my opinion. If you eat any grains including corn (a grain), or peanut products, you are eating aflatoxin every day. Aflatoxin is a common contaminant in our cereal grains (JAMA 2002). It is a carcinogenic substance. Also, if you take antibiotics (these are made from fungi), or birth control pills, you are putting fungal toxins in your body. Many who have suffered for years with symptoms of CFS, FM, attention deficit disorder, asthma, psoriasis, MS, UC (me!), CD have dramatically improved if they followed an antifungal protocol. To me, if the successful treatment was anti-fungal, then the cause was fungal. Cause/effect....

Hope I'm not out of line visiting your forum, but I thought you'd be interested in what research has found...that there is a fungal link to our health problems. Have you tried an antifuungal program, eliminating fungal feeding foods and taking natural antifungal supplements to see if it would help you? I have gotten well after 8 years of UC from following such a program and am now med free. Don't give up finding answers. I wish you well.....

Kim

Thank for your info Kim!

Yes, I did do and anti-fungal treatment(candida treatment)...I will do another now that I know what really going on with me. I think that it helped an little. Also, I plan to detox using natural remedies...some people detox 4 times a year. That ok with me.

I will bring up this treatment when I visit my doc, and see how he treats it.

I have adrenal fatique(or one of the many names that is called), low progesterone and hypothyroidism(tissue resistance to thyroid hormones).
