I have been fight CFS for 8 years now. I'm 24 yrs old.
And over the last week, I have noticed blurred vision in
my left eye. I made an appointment to get it checked out.
But that's in a week, and I wanted to inform myself a bit
so I can ask the right questions. Is anyone here informed
this? Or dealing with it themselves. CMV is common among
CFS Patients and I've heard that CMV retinitis is common among
people with CMV. ANyways I would appreciate any info that could
help. As you can imagine it is pretty scary to have your vision
blurry all of a sudden. THanks

Johnnyboy, I don't know much about CMV, though since it is related to other viruses that repeatedly come up with CFS it is good to bring it up with your eye doctor so that he or she takes a good luck in that direction. I also know there are many reasons that vision might be blurring. I think those of us with chronic illness of any sort tend to view everything in light of that one thing, in this case CFS. It is important to remember that it may or may not be, so that we always look at what comes our way with a fresh eye. I think it is good that you are getting this checked out. Let us know what comes of your appt.

Thanks for the reply. I have a minor eye problem. Not cmv. Although they said that CMV retinitis is more common
then people think. They said to make sure I keep a handle on it.
