Figured sinceI have been lurking here and a few other forums for a while for info on how to cope with pain, I ought to introduce myself. My name is breezee, nickname for bree-anna. I am in my 20's and have injuries to my back and neck following a car collision-was rear ended and hit another car. no children, but a proud aunite!!! Also have chronic fatigue syndrome, following a flu like illness that lingered for a while. sometimes the fatigue is worse than the pain, which is why the doc goes by cfs instead of fibromyalgia, thoug he says the two are very similar. what a great forum. you post info that is very helpful, but the community here is great!!!

k, I won't ramble,

Thanks Breezee and Welcome! We are glad to have you. The forum has not been super active lately so new members are especially welcome. I have found a lot of good information here and it has been really helpful to find others that understand the debilitating nature of this illness. The more community we can create, the more support we find, and the more our voices will be heard.

Welcome bree, I'm glad you decided to join us. Like pasara said, the forum hasn't been too busy lately, but there are a few regulars. I'm sorry about everything you have been through. You are among people who truly understand what it is like to live with these illnesses.

What course of treatment has your doctor decided to try for your cfs? I think one of the really frustrating things about cfs is that there doesn't seem to be a lot out there that's been effective in treating it.

Please feel free to ask any questions or post about having a bad day if you are needing support.

Take care and I look forward to hearing more from you.
