Welcome to the cfs forum Jessica. I think you are right about
it not being normal to have a sore in the back of your throat. I certainly wouldn't think it would be normal.
If it turns out you don't have mono, it's possible that you are developing cfs on top of fibro - there are several people at HealingWell that have both. If you do have mono, it may take you longer than the average person to recover due to your fibro. When I was 18 I had a bad case of mono and that seemed to be the event that set off a lot of my health problems - I just never seemed to fully recover from it.
I'll be interested to see what your bloodwork reveals, so give us an update if you get a chance when you hear about
your labs. Also, feel free to ask any other questions you have.
