Hello everybody,

It's been awhile I guess I haven't been on much lately. It really has been slow here as of late or is it just me? It's not like the old days is it?

I wish I could say I am doing well but I've been having more pain in my feet. It looks like my PN has come back with a vengeance. So has my hip pain. I also seem to have blurry vision, dizziness, headaches, brain fog and weird chest pain. I am starting to think it could be pleurisy as I've this dry nagging cough too. In the past I was having glucose issues and having similar symptoms they stopped and now it looks like there back. I have had glucose tolerance tests and of course did not do well. So It was decided that I was diabetic or at least pre-diabetic so I exercised changed my diet and after awhile I lost weight and started to feel better. Unfortunately, for me I didn't keep up with the diet changes so I think it's finally starting to catch up with me. The good news is I still exercise but I don't think it's been enough either that or something else is going on. I haven't been able to check my glucose as I've been out of test strips and do not have the $$ to purchase more at this time. They are ungodly expensive!

Then there's this weird rash on my arms and hands. I swear it looks like dermatitis herpetiformis but who knows. If it is sure would explain the way I've been feeling. I have been tested for Celiac Sprue before but the findings were normal.

If that wasn't bad enough I am so very fatigued. it is so bad and it is making my college experience a living H*ll but I'm determined. Voc Rehab is paying for it so I can't complain. I do want to get off SSDI but only time will tell if I can

I only hope that my appointment at the Lahey clinic this March will help shed some light but I am skeptical due to all the other appointments gone bad Including Brigham's and Womans hospital in Boston.

I do hope they can help my podiatrist tried to get my appointment moved up but no such luck. She is concerned about some of my issues such as my feet turning blue.
On a recent visit she was checking them out and they turned Blue sad and a dark blue at that. She told me it was Renaud's to which `I knew I had but I've never had anything like that happen before. Normally it just effects my hands never my feet.

So that's it . I hope everyone is well and low pain levels are the norm.

Gramps I know we've kind of talked recently but it is, nice to see you're back.

Take care

thanks for your replies.

You know it's odd I was thinking about RSD. But I never mentioned it to my doctors. When I see then again I will. I thought I remember seeing something about color change being a symptom. then again it could be due to diabetes. Thank you Tina, I sent you an email too

Sigh, All I know is I am not feeling well. What else is new confused

The fatigue is terrible. It's so bad I've had to resort to taking sudafed. the vision changes I just went to the Eye doctor and everything was fine. Then there is peripheral neuropathy OH it is SOO bad and it seems like it's getting worse. You know I have the worst headache behind my eyes, my nose hurts, my jaw hurts and so do my teeth. I wonder if this is some sort of infection? I so have allergies and block sinus passages of course no one will do anything to address it. Anyways, I use saline rinses to help clear out my nose and I wonder if these somehow have caused this?

Then there is the abdominal pain and the taste of blood in my mouth. which gets worse along with the nausea, dizziness, vision changes, numbness right after I eat something that has higher carbs like baked goods, breads, etc. It almost seems to happen immediately after I swallow them. I know that with glucose it normally takes 20-30 minutes after to cause it to rise. So this is a bit strange.

The brain fog and confusion is so bad I don't know where I am anymore. OH What is causing all this? I need to know but so far no ideas from anyone.

I did call my PCP office and they told me a virus is running around so no antibiotics but I just don't think that is what this is.
