It's in the bone. It goes from the mid forearm to just past my wrist, sort of a dull, irregular throb. Maybe almost like a growing pain...
I'm 31 and have no clue why I have this. This is not due to injury. I've read I should go to the doc b/c it could be all these things, including bone cancer (jeez!), which I doubt.
I woke up to my alarm and pressed the snooze button but this pain kept me awake. I've taken Ibuprofin for it and I cannot tell if it helps b/c it always comes back.
Has anyone had bone (not joint) pain that's not arthritis? What did you do?

I've had other symptoms from other things but it's probably coincidence and they're not really pain, so I won't list them on a chronic pain forum.

My suggestion would be to check out information about tendonitis or carpal tunnel syndrome.

I sure would have the doctor check it out, if nothing else it will give you peace of mind. Carpal tunnel goes down to the tips of your fingers along the median nerve which encompasses the thumb, first finger and side of the middle finger. It's likely nothing serious...but be sure.

I get that sort of pain - mainly when I'm tired.  Just like a growing pain in the arm.  I've put it down to fibromyalgia, just another symptom, I also get it in my legs too.

But just to be sure, I'd mention it to the doctor next time you visit.
