Hello Everyone! I havent posted in a long time, but I thought I'd say hello. I am consulting with a new surgeon next Friday, a cardio thoracic. To sum things up...I am a 26 year old with chronic abdominal wall pain due to an entrapped nerve. I have had the pain for over 7 years. I am hoping this surgeon will be able to help me...I've had several surgeries and procedures before, nothing seems to be working. My PM doc currently uped my percocet and it is definitely helping, but I would love to not have to take it anymore.
I got engaged on new years eve and would love to be pain free by my wedding next June! Just wanted to fill you all in, hoping for pain free days for everyone...

my heart goes out to you.  it sounds like you have been through it and then some.  I have had two surgeries on my back and can attest, like you, that surgery isn't really fun.  i think i'd rather spend a week with my ex-wife - no, not really.

i don't have to tell you that surgery is a last resort and not a first choice.  if you have confidence in the surgion, and if there don't seem to be any alternatives, then i pray that god will hold you in the hollow of his hand throughout your ordeal.

best wishes for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.

That light at the end of he tunnel?  It's an on-coming train.
