I used to be a person that others would come to to talk and would give them advice and help everyone around me.I helped others so much that I forgot about myself and put everyone around me first and worried about them and made sure they were all set.its funny when u realize that they are no where around when it is yourself in need.I thank god for my gift of writing as poetry has been my only outlet.I even sent one into the poetry .com and they accepted, copyrighted and published my poem for everyone around the world to read in every library and bookstore.writing poetry is a good way to relief pain, anxiety, being upset or mad or sad.no matter what your situation,or feeling, or pain, you can relieve some of it by writing poetry or even just writing what you think in a notebook.you can turn it into a song.some people like myself as im positive you have all noticed have a lifetime of pain bottled up and it comes out and never stops.and when it does finally start to come out,it seems like its never gonna end.I am so glad for writing and poetry.I even have written beautiful poems for other peoples pain and they read it and cried cuz they thought it was pretty and they liked it.cuz I feel bad for people when they are hurting and my heart is soft and longs to help them or help heal their heart or soul.no one should have to hurt.oh..by the way..it snowed here!! :)))))

living,

i agree that having an outlet, like your poetry, can make many otherwise miserable situations more bearable.

have you ever read the medieval morality play "everyman?" we all give up everything in life as we approach death. and when we give, we do it for the pleasure of the giving, expecting nothing in return. by the same token, i have been VERY disappointed in some people.

Good Morning,

I am so sorry for those of you in pain today and nearly every day. I believe that we give of ourselves to others because we want to, we choose to and we do it without expecting to get anything back.

However, when it is our time of need other people come forward and help us.  The old what goes around comes around.

Coming here and talking about this as well as supporting each other is a wonderful way to get out your feelings.

Gentle Hugs to All
