Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Thanks for posting this Linda! I miss my father so very much. He and I were best friends. I've been thinking sweet thoughts of him today.

Thanks as well from me. I also lost my Father about 10 years ago so Fathers day just has never been the same. I miss him on these days like this and although I visited his grave yesterday and took him some flowers it would have been so nice to have been able to say Thanks Dad for all the years!

Here is hoping all the Dads have a great day and may you all be blessed with many healthy happy years to come.

I'm so glad I was able to spend the whole weekend with my dad. Saturday we cleaned up our classic car and entered it in its first car show. It won best of its class! First car show and first trophy. My dad couldn't be any happier. He never expected to ever win anything. It was really the best father's day gift he could've asked for. Then Sunday we took the car to the beach and took pictures and spent the rest of the day doing errands, watching movies on tv, and getting take out from Black Angus for dinner. I'm treasuring all the time I get to spend with him because there is no telling how much longer he'll be around. I just need to learn to share him more with my sister. She's not into cars so they don't have a lot in common to do together.
