Not sure Tom....its all greek to me LOL. I can't understand a word of their language when they talk about pain studies and stuff like that in medical terms...but hey at least they are seeing a more broader view of us that are in pain right?

Hi Tom,

From the times I've looked at their site is seems very informative and well done. I think it's more aimed at people in the health care industry but no reason a lay person or CP sufferer can't gain some knowledge from it. I feel that the more I learn the better my care will be. No one is as concerned about your pain as you are!

Another site I get help from is where I download and print my Pain Journal. Here's a link for those keeping a journal.

hahahaha Tom....its a Yamaha Grizzly 440 just right for me. Nope I don't think I could ride it clear to Jersey LOL I suppose I could though if it were licensed and had the horn and stuff attached. LOL of course you could picture me riding into your driveway riding 2000 miles to let you see the four wheeler. Yeah its a bit noisy even for my taste but fun to ride!

And as for your dogs....I think that they would chase me all the way back to Wyoming ha ha ha ha ha ha

Hi Chultz : thanks for the information on the pain journal. Sorry to say last one i did years ago got ripped up because I wrote the same depressing things every single day. Your Journal has more options. Since i am lobbying for a pain pump i may decide to use this journal to back me up.
My wife and sons are going with me tomorrow to the neurosurgeon so see the results of my last myelgram. Last time we were there He told us my neck had to be redone ! ! and told me my chances for a sucessful surgery were bleak. My wife was told via phone call to us that there is a new procedure being experimented with and i maybe a perfect candidate. I'll let You know if You want to hear the good or bad news.

I have several questions as to what is allowed as topic's, also I noticed that I have become way to depressing with expressing my real thoughts as the people who have been in pain for awhile know what i am talking about but i fear that newbies to pain may believe i am pushing suicide as a option. can i private email you with my questions ? i am painkiller@healingwell.net or k9partnersforlife@inbox.com
By the way how are You feeling ?? While watching us are You being left behind ??
God Bless and keep up You great work, tom in pain

It's hot. Will be 104 tomorrow. We have power outtages all the time and my place
gets stifling after about 30 minutes. I hate it. It's worse because I don't feel well.
One year the power was out for three days. That was four years ago and I was at
the ocean for vacation. Now I can't ride that far. (3 hours) Besides that. we can't afford it.
I'm not sure why I'm posting this. Just talkin' 'bout the weather at 4 AM.

Hi Tom,
TY for the web site! I just got back from the doctor, my mother when with me to listen and she asked questions and took notes. I went because long past history of blood in urine and this board has given me the will to live. I know longer feel so isolated. I peed in a cup. When the Doctor who is a doll, first came in he said you have blood in your urine. They drew blood to test my kidney function. He is referring me to pain clinic, I have been fired by one so they might not be willing to see me, per my Doctor. He has 3 to try. I got pain meds from him! To get some relief!!!! hydrocodone and flexeril, no more Advil he said.
I found a web site on a new try from chronic pain suffers. It is a combination of opiates and antioxadents, my doctor read the article in full, was impressed and told me he would like to see this treatment succeed. He was impressed. Have you heard of such a thing?
I will try and post it.
Take care!
Cloe

Hi Cloe: My doctor has a whole display, tv video on this type of pain control. It is not for me from what Iam told so I paid little attention. Next visit I'll grab all the research I can for You. Best wishes and prayers, Tom
