I didn't get the water pillow like Ry suggested but I did get a new pillow that is designed for side sleepers and is firm.  I can not believe how much better I feel in the mornings since changing pillows!!  So a HUGE BIG thank you to the above mentioned ladies that encouraged me to try a new pillow.  tongue Who would've thought that something as simple as a pillow could make such a big difference.  I swear I thought I was literally dying in the mornings with the stiff neck, huge headaches and pain in the ribs.  But since switching, I haven't had any of that - in fact I woke up this morning (feeling good) and waiting for the other shoe to drop!

Red,
You're most welcome! Don't we wish that the rest of our problems could be so easily solved!!!

I, too, am amazed at how much difference the pillow makes. I don't even travel without mine (not that I travel very much anyway!). I throw it in the back of the car when I'm going to visit my cousin, which is about the only place I go anymore. Because I have learned the hard way over many, many years that one bad night without the right pillow can take me weeks or longer to get my neck back to at least a manageable place. And I also know when the pillow needs replacing because slowly the symptoms start to return.

It's great you found one that worked for you so quickly. Over the years I've tried many, and several of them are still on a closet shelf!

Good for you, Sherry. Glad you are feeling better with the new pillow. I swear, this site is so great, isn't it??

I read the original post about the pillows suggestions too. So glad there were ladies to have suggested it and had experience to help you.

God's blessings,
