What is your favorite recipe in the whole world or if you like, your favorite food?? Please feel free to share the recipe if you like.

My favorite food is empanadas. They are a Spanish meat pie that looks like a turnover, but is fried instead of baked. I just went to the Spanish market yesterday and bought a couple. mmmmmmmmm they are sooooooooo good!!

My favorite is from "the Betty Crocker cookie Book"
Substittute lemon extract for vanilla, in the Christmas cookie
end results is a fabulous Honey/Lemon cookie. Make em during Thanksgiving break
so kids can help. I also like to add things into Brownie mixes...
Always try to include the children during the long Thanksgiving break
and them watching you bake or helping is a good special moment for them as well.......
As my daughter is a senior, I'll miss her next year not helping me make these cookies......

My favorite recipe is my moms tuna salad. It is a very inexpensive meal that feeds quite a few and is really yummy!

1 box elbow macaroni
Miracle Whip (nothing else tastes right)
3 stalks of celery
2 cans of tuna (or pouches)
4 hardboiled eggs
1 small jar of sweet relish
1/2 sweet onion
1 small can sweet peas

Directions

Cook macaroni and cool 100% before mixing. If you mix the hot noodles with the miracle whip it will change the taste.

Dice your celery, onion and eggs.

In a large bowl mix macaroni, about 1/2 cup of miracle whip, 1/2 of the jar of relish, the diced veggies and eggs and about 1/2 can of the peas. Add miracle whip and relish to taste and remember the miracle whip "dries" a little so put a little more then you think you will need.

Cool for a couple of hours and then serve. I usually add a lot of salt and pepper to mine so you might like it too!

Take care,
Sarrah

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz
