Halloween is around the corner. You ready yet?? Time to run off to the store and buy some candy, if you haven't done so already. So, today's topic: What is your favorite candy to buy for the little "trick or treaters?"

My favorite is those little Three Muskateers Bars. That way, when I have some left over, (and I always do), I have a treat for me and hubby. He he.

So what is your fav candy and why?

And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

My favorite candy is Dove dark chocolate! I don't pass candy out because after my hyster and not being able to have children anytime soon (adoption at 26 is almost unheard of unless its family) I just cannot do it!

My other favorite is candy corn., I cannot get enough and my waistline shows it!!

I have to try to get the cheapest candy I can find! I don't get many trick or treaters in my neighborhood. I also try to get things I don't like so I don't have leftovers that I end up eating!!

Pamela.

Very few places are willing to adopt a child into a household of my age group (both husband and I are only 26) so we are waiting a few years until we can
A.) Afford it
B.) Actually have a chance at adoption the child we want.

It is a crappy thing that crack *****s and other of societies worst lot can breed like rabbits but those who truly want kids get denied for simple things such as age or a less then perfect credit history!

I am so sorry to hear that ekkorose. I wish things were different for you . I know adoption regulations are so strict and actually make it too hard in cases such as yours. My sympathys lie with you hon. Hang in there, one day it will happen for you if you want it to.

Ekkorose,
That's terrible. Just keep filling out forms and being really sweet to those adoption
people.
You'll be a good mom because you want a child. So many children are born into
families where they are not wanted. Twenty-six is plenty old enough. More money
is always needed. There's NEVER enough. : - )
I think you might like to see Baby Mama. (Maybe not. Read a few reviews.)

Ok my favorite candy is Snickers. Usually buy more then I give out and save a package or two back for hubby and I to munch on. When I was in my little town I didn't get many trick or treaters but since I am now in Pratt I am hoping to get more so I have a whole big bowl filled to the brim with candy for the little tikes.

I am sorry rose that you are having so much problems adopting a child. my prayers are with you hun. I just know that someday soon a cute little bundle will be in your arms and we will all be calling you mamma rose. :-)

hugsssss

Ok, I was at the store today and the Halloween candy was on sale. I bought three bags of miniature candy. I don't like peanut butter, so I bought one bag of peanut butter cups. Then I bought a bag of nestle's crunch. And a bag of m&m's.

I like nestle's crunch.

I like m&m's. yeah

They're sitting in the refrigerator. I have two days left. Let's see, did I say I don't get many trick or treaters? idea

Maybe I can sample some to make sure the candy's ok? smilewinkgrin

PaLady:

I am pretty sure that 2-day old M&Ms would be unsafe for consumption by anyone under the age of 30.

You had better just eat them yourself.

It would be the honorable thing to do.

As a show of support for you, I am going to the store right now to clear a few bags off the shelves before some poor, unsuspecting children are forced to eat them. The Wilsons and I will join you in an M&M coma tonight. That's how much we care.smilewinkgrin
