Since a few of us have "hinted" at this, I thought I'd ask what everyone has done or is doing with leftover halloween candy (if you had any).

I have to 'fess up. All the "leftovers", which probably amounted to more than I gave out turn, were placed in a baggie in the fridge.

Ahem.

The peanut butter cups are still there. I don't like them so I'll give them to someone or throw them out!

There are still a half dozen or so mini nestle's bars. There were more than that when I first put them there. smilewinkgrin

There are no longer any of the mini bags of m&m's. shocked

Someone must be raiding my fridge? smhair

PaLady:

Let me be the first to commend you on your swift and selfless efforts to abolish the M&M supply before any unsuspecting Darth Vaders, Hannah Montanas, or Harry Potters were forced to consume them. As promised, I joined you on the battle front and managed to divert approximately 40 pounds (just an estimate) of chocolatey morsels which would otherwise have surely plagued the area youth.

You know.... I think we deserve medals. Round ones. With little white m's on them. And chocolate candy coating....

You guys are funny. You should have made this a daily check in PaLady!!.

I am steadily eating my stash. No coincidence that I bought three muskateers bags. I bought four bags. You see it was buy one get one free. Not to mention, that I have only had two trick or treaters each year since I have moved into my house. (eight years ago) Hahahahahaha!!! Needless to say, I have four bags left. How did that happen? Oh well, better planning next year. Yeah right!!

Do you mean that everyone doesn't have a drawer in DH's desk (in corner of dining room) full of little candy bars and bags of m&m'??????

My dh has biggest sweet tooth.....the grandchildren love it even the 11 mt old has found it (in the walker) and runs around with wrapped candy bars in each fist

The 8 yr old loves to have her grandpa say "hay what are you doing in my candy?" It is the delight of her Sunday. She never had a grandpa until her mom married my son last year. She is our wonder child. She had liver transplant at 1 and is now a healthy 8 yr old who "steals" grandpas candy and puddings.

By the way I am Laurie and new here. My story is in the CFS section.

Blessings

I went to the store today and discovered that our work was not yet done!!! They've restocked the M&Ms!

Quick! Dig in! I'm doing all I can, but shocked phew! I need help!

I hope you are enjoying a little respite from that reality we just can't escape. I've been thinking of you.

Moondancer,
I grant thee absolution. smilewinkgrin

And I completely forgot there would be SALE tables with Halloween candy! (Ry, did you catch that tidbit? Or are you already buying Christmas colors? devil)

I gave my Peanut Butter cups away. Now there's no chocolate munchies in my fridge. Gotta get going before the snow falls and make sure I'm stocked!! shocked

I have already started the Christmas colors, but you've got me thinking, PaLady & Moondancer...

If it's on the 1/2 off table, that means we have to buy TWICE as much, right? devil
