Over the past few years I have had spasms in my left upper quadrant of my stomach, under my rib cage. When these occur,it actually causes a protruding area stick out,Almost like a fist coming thru my skin.I would actually either have to lay down or even stand up and massage the area,to relieve it.It would only last a few minutes and would only happen occasionally. Now,they happen more frequently,in different areas of my stomach.Stress brings them on more often, even moving suddenly, coughing anything.I was told maybe it could be possibly a hiatal hernia.I looked up the symptoms of that.It doesnt seem to describe what I am going thru.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
