Hi Debbie!

Glad you're on the mend. Oh how I remember getting a drain tube out! It was way many years ago after some surgery I had. They had one straight drain tube and one that was a "T" tube cause it's a T shape inside. When I went to have the tubes out I noticed handles on the table. THAT worried me and rightly so. Oh, this will only hurt for just a couple of minutes, he said. LIAR! That huge T tube was ripped out backwards thru a very small hole in my skin. I nearly made that doctor childless, if you know what I mean. When they tell you it's going to hurt...believe them and run!!!!..lol

Hi, Mom9mom,
Glad you're back with us, and hopefully the staples came out easier than the drain. I had my gall bladder out when I was 19 and that was decades ago before the laproscopic procedures they do now. It took months before I could stand up straight! And what was weird was that I also couldn't yawn fully!! But that was many moons ago, and i hope your procedure was much easier on you.

BTW, I remember the drain tube, and still have a tiny scar where it was. But a much bigger scar next to it where the big cut was made.

Take care,
PaLady
