How well does simply sleep help you for your insomnia? I am thinking of buying some and was wondering  if it was worth it? I would appreciate any advice.I hope you have a low pain day.

Yes it works great for me. I found that when I take Simply Sleep that it doesn't put me in that comatose state like Ambien did. I can wake up if I have to. I won't lie though - there are some nights that when I have things weighing heavy on my mind, the Simply Sleep doesn't help to put me in that deep restive sleep - more like a light sleep and I wake up tired. But luckily I don't have that many nights like that. I took it last night at 11pm and my internal alarm clock woke me up at 7am but seeing that it's Saturday I fell back to sleep and finally woke up at 8:30. :)

I take a prescribed med called restoril. Its not terribly expensive & helps me sleep. (I normally sleep 1-2 hours a night, sometimes not even that much) but usually on the restoril I can get about an 4 hours sleep. And there is no fuzzy headed groggines in the morning for me. You should ask you dr for samples. But either way if you are on pain meds, make sure your dr is aware you are taking something OTC, especially a sleeping med. I unfortunatly had no luck with simply sleep..... but I am a severe insomniac & have been since I was a child. But ask the dr for some samples. I never had any luck with ambien or rozerm.
RX's: Oxycontin 80 MG 2x's daily; Dilaudid 8 MG 4xs daily; Zanaflex 4mg 3x's daily; Restoril 15mg 1x; Soma 3x's daily; Lyrica 100 MG 3x's daily (pain & fibro.); Phenergan 25 MG (as needed); Amitriptyline 25 MG 1x (chronic pain); Cymbalta 60mg 2x's daily (pain from fibro); Metoclopram (as needed) & Senokot (as needed).
