Hey, I was just wondering what is the difference between Lortab 10 and Oxycodone 15?  I was just switched to the oxycodone 15 and want to know the experiences you may have had....I have noticed headaches now....

Oxycodone gives me headaches as well but it works far better as a pain medicine.

Lortab=vidodin : Oxycodone = percocet.

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz

yeh, I have noticed that my headaches are much worse on these oxycodone 15's then they ever were on Lortab 10's...but when they finally kick in.....they are a great relief to a headache and my back and leg pain....I wish I had been more forceful about changing meds a while ago. And I love the fact that they don't give me a stomach ache...no Tylenol...

oxycodone is a lot different. the chemical compund is how much morphine (poppy) is mixed with tylenol. the stronger the codone part (ie:oxycodone) the better the effects. ie: tylonol 3, darvocet, percocet, norco, oxycodone.... I did well on oxycodone until i maxed on my tolerance level on it. it made me sleepy at first but after i was used to it, i was fine. you should have a much better result. its a lot better with breakthrough pain, i take it at regular intervals- the pamphlet said do not wait until you are in pain as you would not have the same effect or need more to cut the pain. i took it religously every 4-5 hours. there is a website i like to visit called askapatient.com these are real reviews on meds people have been on..... there are some abusers on there- that shocked me- but the real pain people rip into them. anyhow, i like to look there when i get a new med to see what side effects other people had on it. my main issue was severe constipation (so badly i would pass a lot of blood) and there was nothing else wrong, had a colonoscopy. anyhow, i take senokot (the overnight formula specifically) but I take 3 a day versus the 2, and it works well. drink lots of water/fluids. its worth the constipation.
RX's: Oxycontin 80 MG 2x's daily; Dilaudid 8 MG 4xs daily; Zanaflex 4mg 3x's daily; Restoril 15mg 1x; Soma 3x's daily; Lyrica 100 MG 3x's daily (pain & fibro.); Phenergan 25 MG (as needed); Amitriptyline 25 MG 1x (chronic pain); Cymbalta 60mg 2x's daily (pain from fibro); Metoclopram (as needed) & Senokot (as needed).
