Wishing all my CPers a Happy New Year. I hope all of your dreams for the next year come true and that its a better year for each you in regards to your pain and your financial difficulties. I know that a few of you have been suffering with the economy being bad and having a hard time making ends meet. I truly hope that you find resolutions in these problems. Insurance has been another problem with some of my friends here on HW and I truly hope that you find answers to these problems as well. May your wishes come true and your pains be a distant memory in 2009!

Hugs from Scarred and her Hubby

Scarred,
I'll certainly take the hugs, but New Year's has become one of the most dreaded holidays to me since all this pain stuff started. I guess it's because everyone keeps saying oh, maybe this upcoming year things will get better. Or this will be your year. I appreciate the intentions, but when things actually continue to get worse I've started working on trying not to set any expectations for the new year. New Year's Eve I'm usually home alone, watching the fireworks and such on tv, and on Jan. 1 the best thing I can say is that the holidays are over for another year! Sorry if this sounds so pessimistic, but I have to be able to be honest somewhere. If not here, where?

BTW, Scarred, did you catch the Steelers/Browns game today? Big Ben is going to need some recuperation time at the beach again!!! OUCH!!

Oh ya PA he is going to need some serious down time! Unfortunately so is my entire Bronco team since they got hammered by the Chargers (42-21) and are now out of post season play and are finished for the season. 7 of my running backs were hurt this season so I think they need some serious down time on our beach and maybe a masseuse and some of those fruity drinks. :-)

BTW; I did not mean to upset you or make it sound like I was trying to be joyous for the new year PA. I was just trying to hope for each of you a little hope for a better new year if that is possible. Of course I too hold no hope that this will happen either as this year I will be in for a Stimulator and I don't think that will actually happen. I hold no faith in WC of Wyoming nor the whole system and after 2 denials already there is no way they will actually say yes to a 100,000 dollar surgery let alone pay for it. Plus if they do.....they say that I will be completely done with their service so I will have to get an attorney and sue them to get anything done if it does not work or I need extra meds or anything afterwords.

Happy New Year anyway!

PaLady,
Me ... I celebrate the New Year with a new desk calender. I can look back through the pages of my 2008
calender and can tell by a glance what months were the worst. The ones with the more black circles,
and little square things. The ones with the most doctor appointments. I see it now on my desk.
All clean. All white. 2009.
This year I'm getting a bottle of White Out and when I start marking up my calender I'm going to
paint over it with White Out.
Yep, I have resolutions.
By May, I'll be unthawed too.

P.S. December 2008 was by far the most "decorated" calender month.
