Hello and welcome to Healing Well and the Chronic Pain forum! I'm glad you've found us and hope you fine what you are looking for here. You'll find lots of warm, helpful people who truly know what you are feeling and going through. This is not a place for medical advice, no doctors on board...just support and shared experiences from others who care.
The Chronic Pain forum can be a meeting place for people of many types of pain or pain related issues. Often someone will come looking for answers to help understand a loved one who is living with pain. Many members from other forums like the fibromyalgia, MS, and Crohns come to the Chronic Pain forum also to help learn how to deal with that part of their disorder. We are sort of the melting pot of Healing Well as most disorders have pain also.
We also have chat rooms. Just click on the word 'CHAT' on the thin, blue bar above, choose a room and log in. Often people tend to congregate where others are so if there's no one in the room you want just enter any room where people are and say Hi. It doesn't matter what room it is, everyone will welcome you. And if there's no one in any of the rooms, choose a room and go in. I've never waited more than 5 minutes before others see a live person is there and they come on in to visit.
Please read the forum rules before posting. They're are just common sense that helps keep this forum family friendly. Remember we are here to support each other, not to upset anyone. If you ever do have a problem, please feel free to email any of the moderators and/or the owner at email@example.com.
Everyone is welcome so pull up a chair, grab your favorite beverage and enjoy some great reading and friendship.

I sure do hope you are feeling better. Nothing worse than being sick with something on top of everything else. I am on immune suppressants for my crohns and when this time of year hits, I get scared. I had to go to the hospital the other day for sacroliliac (?) joint x-rays & I nearly canceled the appt. Hey, there are sick folks in those places, lol, scared me for sure. I was lucky, got right in & out.
You are so right about
the Healing Well forums being
open to everyone whether they have the conditions or not. We can and do learn so much from others sharing, its when we stop learning we are in trouble. With that I mean, learning about
anything. The crohns forum is hopping with new members and that makes me sad to see so many people afflicted with that dreadful disease. Our CP board has slowed down somewhat, it just comes and goes in waves it seems. Sitting is very hard for me to do and I have to limit my sitting time-so I miss out alot on the CD forum. Oh, I get over there but I don't get to post as much, but its nice seeing some of the oldies still posting.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi to ya and hope you are on the road to recovery. Hugs, Susie
