I am going to have a good day. I'm going to think right. Be right.
Nothing is going to get me down today. I'll be up and cheerful no matter
what.
I will let you know at the end of the day if it worked.
Pamela

I think maybe we need to learn to have good - and even occasionally great - days despite our pain. And yes, some really bad days, too. And lots of days in the middle. And be ok with it all. (well as ok as we can be all things considered).

So Pamela this is going to be one of your good days. Whether some pain or other stuff creeps in, just say it's a good day anyway! How about painting? You seem to have such talent there!

As for me, my experiment didn't work.
I think I need more antidepressant meds.(or something)
I'm trying, but sometimes depression gets so
deep that positive thought doesn't work.
Pain makes Depression way worse.

Sorry the positive thinking didn't work Pam. I was hoping it would be contagious when I read this thread, as all I could think about today were/are negative things. Today has not been such a good day for me either. I need a new anti-depressant too. Argh to pain that causes depression & depression that worsens pain.

OK ... Here's the deal:

LISTEN!

I had a truly dreadfully nastifull ding dong dang day.
I am Depressed. I am Upset.
Super ... Right after I bragged about postive thought.
So anyway ... At 8 am when I arise again, I will try again.
I will start the day with a song in my heart
and a smile on my face
(Was that a cough or a barf I heard?)
I mean it. I really do mean it.
Sometimes ... it's just all I can do.
I can start right. (Same thing goes for my diet)
Five minutes of Happy is better than none.
Pamela yeah

LISTEN:
I'm very truly and ever so sorry you are having bad days..
I was just trying to wish you well, just like the others
as you and everyone here can always use a low pain day or even for
that matter a no pain day, yes it truly would be ever so wonderful.
I sure hope that you'll get some relief soon as you do deserve it.
Let's hope, Pamela, that tomorrow you'll have a low pain day..
I did not mean to imply anything bad, sorry if it seemed like that.
So good luck for tomorrow...Anything is possible
