Hi, friends,
I'm really hurting tonight. That's the simple way of putting it. I don't know why or what I did but the pain, especially burning, from my back down my leg is substantially worse tonight. And I've taken all the meds I can for the time. Have to wait a few hours to take more. You know the drill. So I'm going to try some heating pads and anything else I can think of. Hope there's something good on tv.

This is just unusual because I didn't do anything I can think of like move wrong or lift anything. And it's actually warming outside, not one of those frigid nights. But it's going to be a toss and turn night for sure....or lots of tv.

Sorry, I just needed to complain a bit.

Hi PAlady,

I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

I had four straight days of feeling really bad. I kept thinking of going to the
ER or calling my doctor. I was so afraid that the pain would stay with me forever.
Today, however, I felt better. I padded around and about 4pm went out and
bought some things I really wanted ~ valentines for my grandaughters, and best
of all I got a Swiffer. I really needed it because all the floors in our new place
are made of tile. Very pretty but impossible to keep up. Actually, I'll put it this
way: I didn't know if I was going to make it and I was very scared.

I sure as hel l don't know what's wrong with me. What's wrong with you?

Thanks Char and Kttn and Pamela! As you can see I'm back up again. Well, I never have made it to bed yet. Watching newscast after newscast. Same stuff - I should know it by heart! Waiting another half hour or so to take another set of meds and going to hope these do it.

At least I did find GREEN M&M's on sale today! I have put on so much weight....oh, can't think about that tonight. Back to the M&M's for now!

Thanks, friends! I'm in good company!

Your in good company PA cause I am right there with ya. Back and leg pain have increased and the numbness and tingling in my feet and legs are driving me batty! If there were some miracle cure right now I'd take it! But it looks like we are all stuck with one another for now so guess we will have to make the best of it. I've been in such a fog that writing in my book has been halted....I can't think of the words I want to put down. Its like a fuzzy peach up there! Anyway my lab is out here looking at me so I'm going to get some sleep.

Hugsss

Thanks, Pete! You can join the club but I don't know if it's one you want to join!

I finally went to bed around 6am!! And I still tossed around. So I slept the morning away, and it's around 50 degrees outside. The fun thing I get to do? Take care of a tire that's losing air. And then tomorrow I have the "fun" trip to the hospital pharmacy to see what they're going to screw up this time.

Just where are those flying corvettes, Scarred? Did they fly off by themselves? LOL

Pete Yeah real bad night. Went to sleep at 9pm woke up at 11:45pm was hurting a bunch. Finally fell back to sleep around 12:45am was awake at 2:30am. Took my pain medications and spent the rest of the early morning hours laying there writhing in pain. Finally at 6:30a when hubby got up and got ready for work I headed for the bed and finally fell asleep until 11:30a. Now this afternoon I have to stay awake cause I have to go get my refill on my Kadian cause I'm out for tonight's dose and the script is at the mailbox. Besides, if I don't stay awake I will pay for it tonight.

PA; see I had the same night as you did LOL. But on a brighter note I did find your and my Corvette.....apparently they had floated to the west and were found in AZ near Phoenix. Are you all ready to go for another jont tonight??? It''s time we headed west again and see the ocean along with picking up any passengers that we have in CA and the surrounding area. I've got several more Corvettes to fill and then we are off to sandy beaches.....summer sun......and cabana boys to die for!!!!!! Aloha!!!!!!!

Hugsssss

Aw, Palady, I'm sorry that you had such a rough night! There is nothing more awful than being up in severe pain all night when it's dark, and everyone else is sleeping (and you desperately want to be sleeping too). As you can see in my other post, I've been having a miserable time lately as well. I was right there with you, although I haven't had the strength to get on the computer lately. I hope you are feeling better today!! Sending you lots of hugs!

Scarred, Susie & Pam - ROFL! We'd better make sure those cars have GPS systems so we can track them!

Skeye - I haven't read your other posts, but I'm so sorry you're having a bad time, too. Gee, SOME of us have to have decent nights, right? Right??

PaLady
Oh - I'm going to need my corvette, too. Just when I thought I maybe got off easy, that the tire just had a slow leak that could be fixed.... shakehead no such luck. They said I drove on it too long while it was low on air. I have one last "older" tire that I just put in the trunk and hopefully that one's still ok. One of my other tires is near bald, and I'll need a new one or two soon ($$$), but before that I need rear brakes (more $$). I need a bail out. yeah

PaLady:

I was wiped yesterday and couldn't make it to get on the computer, so I was so sorry to see I'd missed you when you needed some hugs and encouragement!!!!

Well, they're belated and probably a little on the "wimpy, wimpy, wimpy" side, but here they are nonetheless...

((((((((((((PaLady))))))))))))

Hope you are feeling much much better today!

Ry

p.s. I think no one really sleeps. All those other people are just making up stories! nono Come to think of it, I think "sleep" is just a make-believe word! smilewinkgrin

Awe, Ry, sometimes wimpy is wonderful!! :-)

Maybe we should go back to that idea that some of us are turning into vampires. Can't you heal yourself then? Course, you just can't go out during the day, right? I don't know all the rules, but the healing part sounds pretty good. And no worries about sleep!! LOL
