Now that my pain is under control and I'm comfortable, how about we continue our little journey in our make believe 1954 flying (courtesy of the lovely PA) Corvette's and take for the night skies. The moon before us......the sleeping lands below us.....the wind blowing gently in our hair we head to the west. Where are we going you ask? Well Hawaii of course! Where the beaches are long and sandy....the cabana boys are hot and will serve our every need....and the oceans are a beautiful blue.

Away we go my CPers to the land of Hawaii......Aloha! Come along and have some fun with us and leave your pain behind for awhile.

Hugs

I know I am new to the network but I'll take a seat or even a space in the luggage compartment. By the way, it doesn't even matter what island.

Woo Hoo! I'm there with everyone! Have this vision of a string of flying corvettes with angel wings, all different colors, attached, flying over the Pacific. A strange form of Santa and his reindeer?? smilewinkgrin

fatherjohn you are more than welcome, but you get your very own corvette - or any car you want! Any color! yeah We have these crazy virtual trips and parties and anything else that pops into our heads so feel free to add anything you want to have when we "land". A few months ago we had a Beach Party thread and had entertainment (of course the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet were regulars!) and food like you wouldn't believe! And cabanas on the beach with tempurpedic mattresses! So you can see just toss out anything you want! We just need to keep it family friendly, but that's rarely been a problem!

Scarred - you started this one, so you get the credit for the corvettes! What else do we want once we get to the Island?

I want to go see the volcano!!!! smhair

Ok PA we can arrange that. Any particular Volcano you thinking?

Fatherjohn; You are welcome to come aboard our little adventure. I have a shiny Corvette of whatever color you desire ready for you to drive and have a blast. Just make sure you tether it when your not driving or it will float away LOL.

Shannon; Your Corvette is ready to go. I've picked out one for you as well. The seat leans back so that you can be comfortable and stare at the stars as long as you'd like.

Here we go my friends the ocean is in front of us so lets fly!

Hugs

Oh, I can't spell the volcano's name - begins with a K....still active! shocked Maybe it would be cool to fly over it? idea

Wonder if we'll be picked up on radar... smilewinkgrin

If we fly over it, we'll get an excellent view of it's mouth! We just need to steer clear of any surprise spurts of lava that might come out of it! No crashing allowed, or setting the 'vette's on fire for that matter! We don't want to ruin their magical powers, or lovely paint jobs! nono smilewinkgrin

Don't forget to bring your nose plugs, all that sulfur in the volcano really stinks!

No destructive fires anyway. Who likes the smell of burning rubber? Perhaps some flames trailing from the cars though... Then we'd look like comets in the night sky!

Anyone up for swimming with some sea turtles or dolphins. If the vets fly we can also make them floatable. Now I know something else to do on these wondeful sleepless nights.

Of course they float, and scuba dive too! We can do all the deep-sea & underwater exploring we like, and no need to come up for air or worry about the benz, as once the (see-through) top of the convertible is put up, the cabin becomes pressurized. I can't wait to see all the exotic fish & sea life! Maybe we'll make some new discoveries too! We do know less about the ocean than we do about space!

Oh yes yes yes! Of course! We can fly them above the mouth of the volcano so that it will look spectacular. Bring your cameras!!!! Oh and watch them sparks...we don't wanna set the tires on fire or burn up or transportation home!

fatherjohn; if you say they are immersible then they are. Instead of having to go through the pain staking hours of putting on the heavy tanks..scuba gear along with the hours it takes to learn how to scuba (for some of us don't know how) we shall make our Corvette's able to submerse under water so far that we can explore the depths of the ocean and check out some of the critters down there. We can swim with the dolphins and sea turtles along with the whales too.

Just remember don't open your window!

Hugsss

This is much better than watching the late night cooking shows. After a full day of driving, flying and diving we can take in a pig roast on the beach.

bury my feet in warm sand. Let the sun relax all of my body. The wetness in the air caress my face (no need for moisturizers). Listen to the sound of the waves as I gently fall asleep on the warm sand. Trade winds blowing out all the human detritus leaving clean air.
And fresh fish from the ocean...
Hawai'i, it is more beautiful than the pictures...
Memories is all I have now, oh and my fantasies. Wonderful flights of fancy.
If I win the lottery though...

Ok guys, I just took my night medications so I am going to post this before I get to "Foggy" and have to stop for awhile tonight. We have now landed in Hawaii and are met by many dancers who are doing hulas and putting Leis around our necks and wishing us "Aloha". There is a traditional luaus waiting for our enjoyment with many Hawaiian dancers to entertain us with their dances.

So sit back.....enjoy the fun....kick your shoes off....and if you feel like it.....get up and try your hand (or hips) at a little hula (I know I will be trying to!)

Night for now. See you all around 2 as usual LOL.

I think I read in the advertisement that the surfing on this trip was so easy that anyone could do it. If you fall off one of the dolphins will take care of you. No worries on this trip.

I was surfing ON a dolphin today - it was great! I didn't even have to worry about balance! cool

Oh, I may have to apologize. I think I played with the pyrotechnics last night. Tried to give each vett a few fireworks and it looks like some people in Texas saw us and now think we were some kind of UFO! smhair Oops! devil rolleyes

Now i'm going to go bury myself in the warm sand on the beach and listen to the waves.... :-)

I think dophin races would be great. Instead of jet skis, we each have a dophin waiting for us as our vets land on the beach.

Greey? Not even. This is our trip and we deserve the best. My mind is working in a strange way tonight. For some odd reason I was sitting here thinking of an old movie, tap your heals together three times and say there is no place like home, there is no place like home..............................Wait who wants to be at home when we can stay in Hawaii.

Well I see my CPers are having fun in Hawaii which is exactly what I intended this trip to be. As for me I have found a wonderful hula dancer to teach me the hula and am now confidant that I can do it without any goof-ups. By the way the race sounds like a blast count me in just look out for my car and my dolphin...they are quite fast!

Don't forget to get your free massages oooo and PA? I've included a all day pass to a really great spa for all of us on this trip as well might as well be pampered too. ;-)
