Everyone,

Pete needs our help! He has been going through an incredibly rough time these last few weeks. He is always one of the first to offer us support, and is always dishing out big hugs. He is perhaps the most caring guy I know. He always puts others in front of himself. I know he has been feeling down lately. Now it is our turn to show him how much we care about him & want him to get better, so lets muster up all the good vibes we can & send them his way, along with lots of hugs!

and some more {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Pete}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}!

Sending you big warm hugs & lots of prayers from snowy New England!

Yes Pete, you must take care of yourself. As I remember you have a trip to take to WA to see one of those sons that have made you so proud. If you can handle a hug from another flyfisherman, then consider yourself hugged. I have one of the best jobs in the world and I get to hug my students every day, they range from age 20 to in their 60s and male an female. Hugs are good and have a healing quality, just like fishing.

All my dear friends, Y'all are way too nice to me! The HUGS are helping big time!!! OK, today is the biggie (Neurosurgeon apt.), I wrote down a bunch of questions last night to be prepared when I get in there I got off the internet. My wife stayed in town instead of leaving last night to go to my apt. with me. I was upset after my last apt. w/ the last surgeon I saw and she knew it. She talks to doctors all day long w/ her job and trusts them more than I do. One of the Docs she works with is a big shot down there at U of Miami School of Med. She says dropping names can't hurt. After the way the last surgeon treated me like a bum off the street, she may be on to something?? I'm really happy she's coming w/ me!!
I'll be sure to let Y'all know how I make out this afternoon!
Thanks again for my huggy-wuggy's!!!! The really pick me up!!!

Pete,
I'm so glad your wife is going with you! It's always great to have someone to go - I always have
to go alone. But name dropping never hurts in this instance!!!

Be sure to let us know how it goes!
