Maybe Fatherjohn or skeye or Mom or someone can come along and toss me a line and I can follow them! You know what happens when I'm left to my own devices. devil

Palady,

Why you are in luck! I happen to have a whole slew of extra magic carpets with me! All different sizes & styles to choose from -- from shag rugs to oriental rugs, and even little kiddie carpets in the shapes of animals! Who knew you could be so stylish flying around on your magic carpet?!

I am still trying to figure the controls out on the carpets. Keep the water hoy I'll be there. I am never lost, I just take alot of scenic detours. I just saw a Kiwi bird. I did not think they could fly. Where did it come from?

*Waits patiently for her guests to arrive* while I am waiting.....a knock at the door. I open it to find Sam and Rosy standing there with wide grins! I invite them in and after two cups of tea and several honey cakes that I apparently was saving for my guests Sam informs me that I will be having a very important guest at my little party today! "Who?" I ask. Sam breaks out in a grin and waving his hands around frantically he says:

"King Elessar and Queen Arwen of course!!! They will be here by nightfall. For they too desire to meet your guests and feast with them!"

Wow what an honor!!! Get your tails to my hole!!! The King and Queen are coming!!!!!!!

Hugsssssss

Ha Ha PA! That's the Queen from Alice In Wonderland. This Queen is the fairest Queen in all of Middle Earth! She was once (or still is I can't remember if she actually gave up her immortal life for Aragorn) the fairest Elf in all the lands but I believe she gave her immortal life up for the love of Aragorn.

As for what to wear.....well I have decided to take all my gals shopping for the greatest dresses in all of the Shire! There is a dressmaker that will make us wonderful dresses to wear for the occasion! Any color you'd like and any fabric....only it has to be shaped in the form of a medieval dress so get ready to wear those constricting griddles for a bit he he he.

Can I put on elf ears & pretend to be an Elf? I think I'd like to be an Elf! Rivendale looks like a nice place to live.

PAlady, you and I are on the same page. Maybe we could send out for some real food. While on the way here, I had to stop and buy a book, Flying Carpets for Dummies. I saw another book called The Journey to Rivendale for Dummies. I knew I should have bought it. There should be some elvesies (plural right) around as they were immortal. Ribs, what kind of sauce should we order?

I'd better read both those books, too! LOL

Oh, how about a variety of sauces - everything from sweet to tangy to fire!
And how about we add chicken wings to all this? Scarred, are we messing things up??

I will do some research on what elvesies eat. I am sure that they had to indulge in more that tea and honey cakes. Honey glazed chicken wings. PAlady, I am sue that there were elves that were a little different too. We can sit at the little table with them. From what I have learned about Scarred, we won't mess her up with a little oddities.

Maybe we could have something like a Medieval Feast and some of us (won't mention names smilewinkgrin ) will sit at tables and eat without utensils and others can be onstage performing all this LOTR stuff!! tongue

PaLady--------> looking for a seat close to the food!

Don't worry my fair folk you are not messing up my little oddities. Ribs actually sound very good just make sure there are some without any hot sauce really messes with my tummy don't ya know. The honey cakes are actually a elvish fair that they have made for many years.....otherwise known as Lembas. But I think the elves will pardon us for eating such things as Meat LOL. Oh by the way I have heard from Treebeard......King Bard.......the Woodland Elves......and Rohan and it looks like King Eomer and the fair Eowyn will be joining us as well. The dwarves will be joining us as well and I am happy to say that Gimli has decided to bring some "Cram" whatever that is LOL.

Sounds like it is going to be one heck of a partayyyyyy!!

Hugs

Well It sounds as if I have made it back at just the right time for the party.Went to see if I could find a female Ent.Since I have the use of a flying carpet thought I could put it to good use for treebeard and his friends.I am happy to report that my mission was a successes.I found 10 female Ent`s all the way in Greenland,They are slowly making there way here to meet treebeard and his friends. My best guess is that thay will be here in 6 months.I know that it sounds like a long time but to a Ent it`s not long.I just can not wait to meet all of my friend from LOTR.I have read all about them for so long(34 Years). It`s going to be a real feast all of the shire will be there as well as the guest from far away.I hear that SAM even has a original copy of Bilbo`s there and back and he will be reading it for are enjoyment. He will also be bringing his famous rabbit stew(I here that no one in the shire can make it as well as SAM can).
Lost half of my small intestineJan.2008.Ilieostomy for 5 months then reverst in June 2008,Nerve damage to right leg, part of my right hip bone removed Jan. 2008,Cronic pain, hernia, infection in my back called discites, and depression.Gallbladder removed Nov,2008.Surgery to fuse L3 and L4 vertabra Dec. 31,2008.Mother to 9 kids 7 boys 2 girls and 1 stepson.4 grandsons,9 grandaughters.4 of my grandkids I inherited from my twin sister who passed away 6 1/2 years ago from a blood clot after surgery.God has given me my life back after I almost lost it.Even though its a painful and sometimes hard road to walk I take it one step at a time and give thanks to god for every step I take.

Oh yes PA! To have both King's and Queen's of Middle Earth at our party is an honor indeed! I even heard that Tom Bombadil and Goldberry will be here too!! The hobbits are preparing to set up the tents in the big field next to Bag Shot Row just like they did many years ago when Bilbo made his farewell speech and "Disappeared" from the Shire! Thank goodness that dratted Ring has been destroyed and Saruman has been cast down! I do not think I would like to spend time in Morgoth or near where the Dark Tower once stood, from what I hear there are still evil things that lurk around those lands.

A friend of mine on The Ring dot Net wrote a nice story about Sam and his son "Frodo the gardener." I think it was a cool tale, when I find the site again I will give it to ya for anyone who wants to read it. Anyway looks like its going to be a grand party! The men from Dale are sending some "Fireworks" too!!!!! Gosh it is too bad Gandalf has sailed over the seas to the undying lands.

Hugs
