You guys,

I smiled so big when I came in here today. You have warmed the cockles of
my heart. Really.

No, I did NOT have my MRI today. I was rescheduled for both shoulders, cervical
spine, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine. The techs thought that would be a little
too long to keep poor Pamela in the long dark tunnel. It would have been like
three and a half hours.

So ... What did they do? They rescheduled me for three separate MRI
appointments.

First one, is NEXT Monday at noon. And I will keep you regularly posted on my
life of drama. Urk.

Pete & fatherjohn, I really laughed out loud when I read your "sentiments"
lol. For the rest of you's in was

Warm Smiles,

Pamela

White Beard mentioned that it would be a very good idea to have C5 & C6 MRI'd.
and with those words, my doc was off to the MRI races. :-)

PPS

If I don't do well with IV sedation, I'll be given full anesthesia. Let me tell you,
I'm going to try really hard to do well. Yes indeed. I want to have all my
wits about me. I NEED THEM. rolleyes

Glad to here back Pam! Will they KO you for all three MRI's?? Hokey Smokes Bullwinkle! Thats gonna be alot of MRI's! I'm glad they will stretch it out though because thats exactly what got me in trouble, having two MRI's back to back = 3+hrs!! Even two is too much, three would be way out of hand! I'm glad you are all set now. We will be right there with you for all three!

That sounds like a much better plan, Pamela. Gosh, no wonder they were going to knock you out if they were going to MRI about your entire body all at once!

This should be much easier on you!

Wow! That would have been one LONG MRI! Good thing they decided to space them out, although I'm surprised that they didn't at least do the first one yesterday, since you were ready & they had the time slot & all!

Don't worry, you'll do just fine! At the end, you'll be a real MRI pro!

Pamela, three MRIs, I'm jealous. When I get up in the  middle of the night I hate to turn lites on cause I don't want to wake my wife or daughter. I am always afraid I am going to fall fall down the stairs. You won't have that problem, you will probably glow in the dark. Keep us posted and don't stay away so longe next time. I was using up unneeded  prayers. Blessings!!

I agree with Skeye, by the 3rd one you'll be a pro for sure, you'll be telling the techs how its done lol.

We'll be waiting to hear how you do!

Pete, I assume they'll knock me out for all three mri's. I hope so.
Skeye: I wish I could have had the first one today. I'd be step ahead in the worry
department.
fatherjohn: Oh my gosh, I'm laffin' : ). I can always use prayers. Oh, the life I've
led ... It was back a long, long time ago but one never knows how long he looks
back. You know? ;-D
edt: I hope I'll be a pro. I assume I'll exit that long tube safely.
White Beard: Thank you for thinking about me.

Pamela Glowbug

Bear (Bare?) with me. I've got to do another MRI post. It will be a quiz.
My husband and I have been kind of ... hmmmm .... "talking" to each other
about it. See new thread called: How many parts to a skeleton?

It's a weird thing about MRI's.. I thought my head was going to explode during the first couple I ever had, but I actually enjoyed the last few because they warmed up my fusion hardware like an internal heating pad. tongue
