I bid one and all a good night with a short poem that I hope will help each of you fall into a deep slumber with little pain. So here it goes!

As the stars shine brightly and the moon caresses the darkened sky,

Shining down its moonbeams upon us trying hard to make us close our eyes.

As the twinkling of dewy grasses lay quiet about the lands,

May each of you find gladness in the glowing stardust that is sprinkled from Mr. Sandman's hands.

The golden dust falls upon our faces, causing our eyes to give into sleep,

While outside all around us, not a creature all night does creep.

As the moon begins to fade, and the sun begins to rise,

may each of us find comfort in the peaceful sleep we endured last nigh.

Morning breaks around us, people bustle to and fro,

But each of us find comfort that a wonderful sleep did give us pain so low.

So laugh and be happy my friends from HW forum,

for at least we did not crack and be forced into the insane sanatorium!

Another stupid poem brought to you this evening by Scarred and the creepy dreams that await her tonight! LOL

Hugs and good night sleep well!

Great words Scarred. I hope I don't run into you late tonight or early in the morning. Watch out for the sand crabs.

I guess the sand crabs got me. I was so exhaused that my wife was surprised I fell asleep by 10:00 PM. Had to be the poem. I woke briefly when my wife came to bed and we were both hopeful for a nights sleep. I woke at midnight and knew it was just a short interuption but I could not get to sleep. I layed there for 45 minutes trying to go back to sleep, not a good sign. It is at that point I start getting angry which makes it worse so now I am up looking for the sand crabs.

Ok instead of going with a whole nother thread I am just gonna post here cause I've crawled in bed and am ready to go to sleepy land.

I lay down on the soft grass and look up at the night sky,

the silence of the darkness is so peaceful, I cannot hear a thing but a few lonely fire flies.

A few flutter by my head, their bright green color so glowing. A little waterfall is not far for I can hear it flowing.

The heaviness of my eyes overtakes my mind and I am suddenly floating above in the gentle winds.

My heart begins to throb with the anticipation of the unknown. For I do not know where my body will roam.

I watch as I wander on this terrain flight. I wonder where this dream is taken me this night.

Can I stop it? Can I get release this dream? Then suddenly before me I see a wide, cold stream.

Suddenly I am back on the cold earth. Feeling the sputtering water from the rocks splash me with mirth.

It tingles my feet, my face and my hands. Causing me to grow weary and soon I am barely able to stand.

There is a tree not far from the stream, its great oak trunk is calling me me. I lay down beside it and lean my back against its knees.

I close my eyes, and I'm swept away. To another dreamland where castles and dragons want me to stay.

Good night my friends

Hugs
