I know that there have been questions here about the partial filling of narcotic prescriptions. This article spells out the rules regarding that and the other aspects of prescribing controlled substances.

I can never view Medscape articles... sad I'd actually be quite interested in reading this, as I had a question about something recently & I KNOW that the information that the pharmacist told me was incorrect, but I also got conflicting answers from 2 physicians.

Is it because of your eye or something with your computer? For some things you do have to register with the site.

Medscape is also different from Medline. The latter is the source for medical professionals, and a lot of times there's a fee involved or you have to subscribe to the journal. Medscape is kind of a watered down version, and as long as I'm registered those are free. As a matter of fact, I get a weekly e-mail of headlines in a list of medical catetories.
