Tried to work outside a tiny bit yesterday.

Feet/legs were feeling pretty good. Before long what turns up hurting/burning like crazy? My back!
So now I wake up at 3:30am and there seems to be little likelihood of going back to sleep since my back is roaring! And, of course, my meds aren't available for about 4 hours. (Weekends when wife is home she controls med distribution; weekdays from now on it will be by electronic med dispenser due to the day I lost time and took 3 dosages at once.)

New Rule! Those with Chronic Pain get easier lives in other ways (like no back pain).

Let's give it some time to see if it goes through.

I'm sorry you had a rough night, Tony. I have had those nights too and with my feet and legs as well. The pain is nagging sometimes and keeps me awake for hours--sometimes for the rest of the night.

Hopefully, by now you are feeling a bit better. I expect you have taken your pain medication. Well, I hope that has kicked in and is being effective.
Sorry I wasn't on to post at 4 am to talk to you.

Anyway, try to get in a nap today if you think you can.

All the best. Hugs.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Thank you, Linda. Thank you, Linda turn

Yes, finally got to my meds and all is well with feet and legs. Got some sleep so disposition is a bunch better as well.

Back is still a major bummer. I don't even take aspirin with my other meds any longer, and they never seemed to do much good for me even when I did take them.

Why is it when it rains it pours?
I can remember days when things were so perfect I wanted to live life forever - and not have to sleep so I wouldn't miss anything.
Now, oftentimes days are when I'd give anything to be ABLE to sleep, due to escaping the pain.

Tony,
Sorry I wasn't back on the computer in the wee hours. I wasn't sleeping, mind you, just too lazy to sign back on. Trying to watching something on tv to tire me out and I can't even remember what it was. I do remember it being 6am before I GOT to bed!

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, but I do understand the desire to escape through sleep. Sometimes I think that's why I've flipped my nights and days...

Sounds like you just tried to be a bit normal, doing a few things in the yard, and then wham. We're always reminded, aren't we?

I was taking my muscle relaxers last night and my pain meds. I played too hard with grandson yesterday. I was down on the floor playing with the john deere tractors, then we had to play fire truck & rescue, we played hide & seek too. I was one tired granny when I got home. I have been doing yardwork, pulling weeks, a little raking, trimming some of the small branches off my crepe myrtles. I think my outside work is catching up with me today has been awful.

I have the burning pain today and that is not a good sign for me. Hope you feel better. I have my days & nites pretty much mixed up but I am not a day time sleeper either-cat naps is about it. To have a good nights sleep in my bed and not in this dang chair.....Susie
