How about a yummy topic??? What's your favorite candy bar? Aww, com'on. You know you have one. Maybe you haven't had it in a long time but remember enjoying your favorite...maybe with a cup of coffee or all alone in peace and quiet. Just a tiny bit of OK, maybe a bit dramatic but this may involve chocolate here!

I will have to say Snickers. Haven't had one in several years but oh I did love them. When I returned to college about the time I turned 40, breakfast in the car was a Snickers and a Diet Coke! Ahhh, and the diet coke takes away all of the calories of the candy bar! Didn't know that??? Well, that's only for us gals. The guys still get stuck with the fattening aspect of those luscious delights. tongue

So tell everyone what your favorite candy bar is......

Milky Way Dark -- the kind with the marshmallow filling -- yummmm!
Oh man, speaking of marshmallows, I also love those crazy little Peeps! I've gotta get me a package or two, or a hundred, of those. :) My favorite are the pink bunnies. I like to bite their ears off, then their body off, then I smile at their little smiling heads just before I pop them in my mouth with pure delight.

Course you get the worst sugar headache the next day, but I swear it's worth every moment for the joy of consuming so much sugary goodness. :)

Um, ok, if you line up M&M's and stick them together do they count as a candy bar??? If not, I'll have to go with a Symphony chocolate bar with almonds! But I've got to get off the chocolate stuff. Or maybe just drink diet coke with it to remove the calories? I didn't know about that - thanks, Chutzie!

Oh, and those peeps. They're all over the stores now, as bad as M&M's! I've so far refrained from buying any but of course I have to buy some for my goddaughter's children and since I'm never sure what their favorite color will be I'll have to buy extra. Wait that's how the M&M's started at Halloween. rolleyes turn

Ok I can't pick one.  I love regular Hershy bars, Three Musketeers and an old one called Chunk.

I don't eat much candy every blue moon I can't make up my mind between the three.  I can never make up my mind on anything not even what to make on dinner.  So the hubby at times will just get all three of them.  yeah

Whats left I give the kids.......

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz

I love the Milky Way Dark too, but my favorite is lindt dark chocolate bars, either the mint, raspberry, or just plain - but it has to be the dark  chocolate!  Oh my goodness, my mouth is watering and my heart is beating like crazy just thinking about it.
I think I may have forgotten about my pain for just a tenth of a second!  Thank you! tongue If I had the candy bar I might forget about it for the 10 seconds or so it would take me to devour the darn thing!  Please, somebody hurry and get me a candy bar, I need it bad!

CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE!!! smilewinkgrin Okay, I'm a little too excited about this topic! My favorite commercial candy bars are Milky Ways (the original, mmmm caramel), Kit-Kat's, and Crunchies (a British candy bar: honey comb covered in chocolate, yummmm), and of course M&M's (not quite a candy bar, but I'm putting it on the list anyway!). Oh, and Tolberone bars, yummm. My favorite candy bar of all time is made by a chocolate company in my home town. They started off as this tiny outfit in the basement of our little country general store & within a few years they gained national fame. They have been rated as one of the best chocolates in the country! They have since moved to a larger factory in the next town over, but they still hold our town name as their company name (and my town is so tiny it's barely on the map!). The holiday season is just ridiculous for them! They get orders from all over the world. Very expensive chocolate, but it's the BEST!

Frances, have you ever seen those website about peep-ology (I think it is called)? One of my professors was a huge peeps fan as well & sent our class this webpage as a spoof about learning how to design a scientific research project. It was hilarious!

Great topic Chutzie!

Oh, and your college trips & candy bars reminds me of my college visits. My mom & I would always eat a bag of Fritos & drink Diet Pepsi on our college-visiting road trips. Must have been due to all the stress! smilewinkgrin
