Hey girl hows things?? Are you doing ok? How was your sleep last night? I do hope you got some sleep. I actually fell asleep around 11 and didn't wake up until 3:20 so I got 4 hours or so. Never enough though. I'm going to have to see about investing in a new printer. Fought with my HP printer that my Dad bought me a few years ago and I really don't want to get rid of it. Kind of a keepsake at this point and it still works fine. Gonna try to buy some new ink and see if that fixes the problem.

Hugs

Scarred, the night before on thursday night i received six hours of sleep on the lunesta and it worked in 10 to 15 minutes but last night it took for ever to work and only got 4 and half hours of sleep last night. I took it at 9:43 pm and the last time i remember it was 10:30 pm before i fell asleep. Lunesta is not like when i took ambien and it was working like it was suppose to. when i first started to take ambien i was in a comatose sleep for 8-10 hrs and with lunesta its a light sleep for about 4 -6 hrs. I also get this bitter metalic taste from lunesta do you get that?right now im trying to survive the weekend with the back pain and sciatia with no meds til monday when I go see the pain doctor. How are you doing? I know what you mean with my insomnia its a miracle i make it through the day. It does feel like im hitting the wall. I need to get insurance and get a sleep study and find out why I cant sleep .I hope you have a low pain day.

Kara; Yep I get the strange taste in the mouth with the Lunesta. Its one of those side effects that I have learned to deal with. I figure if it gives me 4-5 hours of sleep that is at least something. I actually am having a pretty good day today as far as the pain goes. Once my Kadian kicked in everything seemed to settle right down. It takes about an hour for mine to kick in as far as the sleeping meds and I usually just spend the time relaxing and trying to keep my mind free of any thoughts that will make me go nuts for the night LOL.

Anyway...hope you are having a LP day.

Hugs

It's Strange...but if I sleep for more then an hour and a half at a time I am in so much pain when I get up... If I am still for hours I am in Pain...Maybe I need to move around so I don't get stiff....I don't know..

My PM doctor up'd my Trazadone to 100 mg before bed and now I sleep through till about 3 am.  Thats good for me.  Its only been a week but I feel clearer in the head.  I was getting so foggy brained for about a year.  I can't stand the feeling before I go to bed I get really nausated ? spelling But I sleep I guess thats all that counts.  But lastnight I ate a peice of toast cuz the label says to eat with it.  It seems to make my stomach feel better....

kara; the metal taste that goes with the Lunesta is normal. most people wont take it because of that fact. But I have found that its not so bad and have gotten used to it. I slept not to bad last night, fell asleep around 9pm and was awake at 1:30 with horrible pain. Took my early morning meds (percocet and Methocarbol) took a bath and was asleep by 2:30am.
