I haven't been around quite as much as normal over the past week, so I don't know if she mentioned anything about going away, etc. But I realized that I haven't been seeing any posts from Scarred recently. Anyone know where she is/how she is doing?

Scarred, I sure hope that you are doing alright & not in too much pain. Hopefully that KS weather is warming up & no more snow - maybe you are outside painting, enjoying spring! Sending you hugs! (((((((((Scarred)))))))))).

best wishes,
Skeye

Hi my friends! Sorry I have not been on lately but, I do have a good reason LOL. It seems that KS is getting a high (more then apparently normal) volume of rain and wierd weather! I've been spending much of my time curled in the fetal position in gobs and gobs of pain. Too I've been so depressed about the verdict on the SCS, so I haven't felt much up to talking.

A bit of good news on my end though.....I went shopping this morning and bought a new Washer and dryer...and two new lazyboy loungers for hubby and I!!! Now I really have a place to lay my head at night LOL. This couch is so uncomfortable that I haven't been getting but 3 hours of sleep a night so I spend most of the day sleeping...which of course isn't good for the pain as well as my mood. So hopefully the new lazyboy will help in this aspect and I will be able to sleep once more so that I can talk with ya'll and so that I can also get some painting done.

Hugsssssssss I've missed you all so much!!!!

Scarred

P.S. The reason for the new W & D is because our old washer is going out. It's starting to not spin the clothing properly. And hubby and I figured we could use a new dryer too. :-)

Nice to see ya scarred! I really like my la-z-boy chairs and have been falling asleep
in them during the day..which makes it hard for me to sleep at night on the bed...
But anyways, hopes yours works wonders for you...
hugz...

Hi Scarred,

Great to see you back! We missed you! I am sorry that you have been in so much pain, but that's great news about the shopping spree! Our dryer at home is horrible - has been for years. It takes 3 - 4 cycles to get anything dry, but we don't have the money to replace it. And the washer isn't great either - you have to fiddle with the water hose before ever cycle or it leaks! eek! I remember being so amazed at how easy it was to do laundry the first couple of times I used the laundry machines at school! Hopefully that lazy boy will help you out too! I have a small one that we got for my shoulder surgeries - the surgeon didn't want me sleeping in a bed for at least a month after the surgery X 3 surgeries + random nights when I was hurting really badly = a lot of nights spent sleeping in that chair! I still refer to it as my "second bed!"

hahaha Skeye. I am so looking forward to my new lazyboy!!! I'm excited to be able to lay back and relax! I sat in the one that I bought on Sunday and hubby had one heck of a time getting me out of it LOL. So this evening hubby started moving things around to make room for the new chairs and he did a real good job. He moved the entertainment center to the west wall...the couch will stay where it is at...the hutch is over by the door and we have finally made enough room that I believe my living room actually looks much roomier.

Anyway...headed for bed now.

Hugsssssssssssss

Scarred
