Hi all,

since I am new on this site, I would like to know how I can answer personally to those who wrote to me following my first post. Do I have to send an general message with different feedbacks for each of them, and how will they know?

To whoever is familiar enough with the site to answer that question, I would really appreciate your help in this matter.

Thanks in advance.

Frenchdude, It really is very simple. You can just make a general statement to all or you can even list the each separately. At times, you might want to write one paragraph to one person and another one for someone else. You will find that people will see the post as we generally check back and see how things are going. There have been times when we don't even feel like responding and that is ok as well. It is pretty open. Hope this helps.

Frenchdude,

If I understand your question correctly, you want to return a message an individual personally (confidentially). To my knowledge you cannot do that here. I believe all messages are available for all to read. If I am wrong, please someone correct me. And Frenchdude, if that was not your intention let know.

Modelmaker,
As far as I know, you're right. Some forums have a feature that allow for personal messages to be exchanged privately within the forum. What some people do here is put their e-mail address in their profile, if they want it open for viewing. Click on someone's screen name and see if their e-mail address is available, and if so, you can send them a private e-mail that's not part of the forum.

Frenchdude,
I don't believe I said hello to you and I apologize for that. Welcome to the forum, and let us know if we haven't answered your question.

I'm a little unclear on the question but if it's about responding to a comment in a post...then just click on the 'Post Reply" at the bottom of the thread (topic) or you can use the Quick Reply window at the bottom too.

Hopefully in these answers you'll find an answer that helps...lol

PAlady,

I think you are correct. Adding an email address to the profile would take the dialog off line.
