Today's 'fill in the blank' is: One thing I’ve learned in life is _____________________

Never say NEVER. Oh boy has that gotten me into a bunch of misery over the years. about the time I say 'never' I know I'm going to eat those words. Might not be in the foreseeable future but ...one day! just you wait! rolleyes So, no matter how unlikely it seems....take my advice and Never say NEVER!

Chutzie, you and FatherJohn are sure coming up with some big ones lately!!!lol Okay I'll try this oneThe one thing I've learned in life is you've got to stop and smell the roses. Life is so busy and so many things going on, I often times find myself like a hamster just spinning in circles. And as I spin, I find out that it symbolizes my life spinning out of control. One day I thought about it. The trees, the flowers, the bushes with the pretty flowers that I can't think of the name right now, just how simply pretty things were. And I looked at the trees- all different in shape and the branches... Then I looked at the clouds and all the beauty that is before me everyday, that most days I just miss. I am in a rush all the time, that I really never slowed down enough to notice these things. You know what? It helped for the moment. And when I start feeling out of control in my life, I just look around me and try to relax and breathe.

I promise I have not gone off the deep end here!lol Looking back over what I've written, it does sound strange. I hope it makes sense to everyone and you don't think I've gone psycho. here.

Don't sweat the small stuff.  I used to be upset about all the little details in life.  Why is my son getting a B in science instead of an
A?  I wish the garage wasn't such a mess all the time.  Now I am just glad if, when I swing my legs over the edge of the bed, I can still move them and stand to walk.  I am truly blessed and try to appreciate those blessings each day.
